We are a small, family friendly barn that takes on a limited number of students at a time so we can provide the best experience for both our students and horses.
Lessons are offered for beginners who are just starting out to the more advanced riders who want to move toward showing or owning their own horse.

~ I own 4 horses and a mini donkey. I rescue, retrain, re home equines.
~ I ride western and English. I enjoy Jumping and doing Hunter under saddle. I have won Grand Champion in the 13 and over Hunter Jumper division. And have a strong love of horses.... See More

Equestrian Arts Institute is a true equestrian educational experience. We not only educate our riders how to ride, we always incorporate horsemanship educational opportunities. We give lessons for children ages 6+ through adult riders. We have competition opportunities for those with a competitive drive and other fun, pleasure activities for those that are a bit more laid back.

Bright Star Stables is a non-profit therapeutic riding center. The program serves both the physically and mentally disable communities. Bright Star Stables offers therapeutic riding lessons, hippotherapy, and the opportunity for compete in equine events. Students will be taught equine care, riding, handling, and management to their best level of ability. Students will also be involved to the level of their ability, skill, and interest in competition and training horses.

Therapeutic lessons are conducted at a NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) certified facility located in Rougemont, NC. These lessons teach individuals horsemanship skills which allow them to potentially compete in locally and nationally recognized horse events in both Western riding, as well as English riding disciplines.
