Brentsville Stables, located in Prince William County. Virginia, is a family owned and operated equestrian facility. We specialize in English riding lessons for all ages and levels, primarily focused on beginning and intermediate riders. We offer an instructional program which includes English pleasure, hunt seat equitation, and jumping. Our riders learn in 45 minute private lessons for $55 and semi private lessons for $50 a rider. Our lessons for beginners include ground time, grooming and tacking instruction. Once young riders are proficient in this process, then lesson time will begin when mounted. All riders need to wear proper riding boots and a safety approved helmet. New riders must have a copy of a current medical insurance card and a signed release waiver on file. Lessons may include mounted exercises as well as theory lessons (unmounted). We ride both in and out of the ring for a well-balanced riding education. Travelling to your barn for lessons and clinics is available. Please call for rates. 24 hour cancellation notice is required.

Kilfinnan Stables is a full service equine facility offering training, lessons, clinics, sales and boarding. Lessons and Training are provided by Advanced Three Day Event Rider Sean McQuillan. Sean offers instruction to riders of all ages and abilities, focusing on good horsemanship, solid basics, proper balance, and the relationship and communication between horse and rider and has been helping students form great partnerships with their horses for over 15 years. He is well known for his patience, communication skills, and takes pride in getting the best out of each student and horse. His coaching style is a mix of training and lesson philosophies coming from years of experience in the tack and his tremendous teachers and coaches throughout the years including David O’Connor, Phillip Dutton, Jimmy Wofford, Stuart Black, and Bay Cockburn. Kim Yotko is an A.R.I.A. certified instructor in both Hunt Seat and Dressage. She has been teaching since 1976 on our own quality horses and ponies. Kim has quite a comprehensive background in riding. As a junior she rode at the esteemed Jane Dillon's Junior Equitation School, as well as being a member of the United States Pony Club. More recently, Kim Has received further Dressage training in Germany, Portugal, and Spain under the tutelage of world class instructors and Olympians.
