I can start young horses, rehab, put training on greenies or low level horses and re train difficult or even "impossible" horses. I also teach.

I am a behavioral specialist, using liberty training (advanced groundwork) and classical Dressage technique/theory with an emphasis on biomechanics and "riding with humility" to achieve unity with your horse- making you and him/her reach for your potential and begin a journey of self transformation.

Horses will help you find yourself if you give respect, ask for respect, listen to them, and surrender your fear.

My training is Dressage based but I believe all horses need a versatile foundation and incorporate XC schooling, cavaletti, trail riding, and fun but challenging activities when appropriate to build confidence in the horse and rider. I teach riders of all ages and experience levels on their own horses in the comfort of their own facility. I can also travel to shows or schooling events. We fox hunt with Bedford County Hunt, compete at hunter pace competitions, and local shows where my horses and students win by using the techniques of total horsemanship I stress at all times. Horseshoe Creek Stables offers public trailrides in Roanoke, Virginia located in a great country setting but close in to Roanoke City and Vinton. 1-Hr Trailrides are $30.00 each and prescheduled on weekends.
