Scoggins Training Center is a full service facility offering its clients some of the best training in the state. Brian Scoggins has been training horses for over 20 years. His accomplishments at the National & Regional levels all attest to his talent & ability as a horseman. The adult amateur & youth clients of STC are what make the training done by Brian really shine. They prove that not only are the horses trained to compete at the highest levels, but that their owners can enjoy them at their full potential, too.
At STC, Brian successfully takes horse as well as rider from their first steps to their National Dreams. What makes STC so unique is that Brian only accepts a limited number of horses and riders which allows him to spend the needed time for both horse and rider to mature at their needed time to reach their full potential. STC attends most major shows in the United States each year, including US Nationals, Canadian Nationals, the Buckeye, the Iowa Gold Star Futurity, and two Regional Championships. The show team also attends numerous local shows in the area. The show schedule has expanded recently to include some NRHA shows for the reiners in the barn.
Brian Scoggins is also a National level carded Arabian judge. He travels around the continent to judge a varying number of Class A, Regional & National AHA shows. He also occasionally travels for clinics in the United States & Canada.

Now offering boarding, lessons, and training. Jessica has over 17 years of experience with horses and more than 13 years of competition experience. She is offering lessons from beginner to advanced and specializes in dressage and jumping. She has trained with many upper level riders such as Dom Schramm, Cathy Jones-Forsberg, Brad Hall and Leah Lang-Gluscic. She currently shows at rated events all throughout area IV and area VIII, along with attending local eventing, dressage and hunter/jumper schooling shows.

We emphasize relationship between horse and rider, explaining how and why things are done to accomplish the clearest communication between the two and treat the horse respectfully. Our program is well rounded to include horse care, health, handling, and riding. We dont teach student just to ride, we teach students how to become horse people.
