Leocor Farms specializes in hunter/jumper sales and training. Our lesson program can accommodate for beginners-advanced students of all ages. Our program focuses on building solid equitation in the saddle and horsemanship skills on the ground. We have a ring with a full course of jumps, a small central aisle barn with cross ties and a wash rack.

Our rates are as follows:

$50 for a private hour lesson, $45 if you bring your own mount
$35 for a group lesson (3+ riders)
$65 for an private lesson off property*
*travel rates apply after travel out of 60-mile radius of our farm
$25 for a horsemanship lesson, designed for riders under the age of 10 which is an hour long session to learn grooming, tacking and basic horsemanship skills to assess younger students interest level prior to investment in riding lessons.

We are a family-focused barn that works to make riding safe, fun, enjoyable, and interesting. We work with many different levels of riders from young (and adult) beginners to those who want to show in the Hunter-Jumper ring, in lower level Dressage or to learn how to ride Western Stock Seat. We aim to make our business a very welcoming learning environment and we work hard to get our riders to attain their goals in riding. We also have clinics offered in Hunter-Jumper and Dressage. We have an annual winter camp that starts the last week in December and is open to all levels of riders and a summer camp. The camps lasts from 9-4 and the student rides twice a day and receives lots of personal attention. We also provide training services at our barn or off-site, for Hunter-Jumper, problem horses, lower-level Dressage, or starting under saddle. I am a professional riding instructor now offering private instruction, traveling to you and your horse. I have over 15 years showing experience in the Hunter/Jumper show ring. I studied Equine Science at a nationally accredited university, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Equestrian Studies. I primarily focus on the theories of George Morris, Bert De Nemothy and Linda Allen in my teachings. I will help you to overcome training issues through greater understanding of you and your horse’s needs. I focus on the horse and rider as a team and aim for progress from both, helping the rider develop confidence and independence. My goal is to help horse owners develop a better relationship with their horses... regardless of riding discipline.
I am 21 years old and have recently moved to Anchorage Alaska with my husband who is stationed at Fort. Richardson. We are both from Southern Indiana. I have been riding horses my whole life and breaking horses since I was 12. I have shown 4-H, Pony club, saddle club, hunter jumpers, and sale horses but for the most part of my life I competed in the AQHA circuits. I have trained under and for some of the top trainers in the US and have won several National awards. My last job was in Western Kentucky at West Kentucky Legacy Breeding farm. There I managed over 300 head of horses and bred some of the top notch stallions. I also have spent a majority of my life riding for Saffo Clithero Pleasure Horses riding young horses, sales horses, and rehabilitating abused horses into some outstanding show horses. I grew up having a "coach" instead of a trainer. She didn't ride my horse but, she coached me on everything I needed to do in order to have my horse perform to its highest ability. By having a coach I was able to figure out my horse inside and out. I strongly believe in this method, although I do train and can caught ride without a problem, I will not just teach you how to ride or do patterns. You will learn and understand it. I do NOT have my own facilities, but plan to bring my horse to Eglin Air force Base with me.
