Teaching riding has been a lifelong dream, and riding, instructing and horses are my passion! We are currently looking for all levels of rider of both adults and children.
We offer lessons to the beginner through advanced rider focusing on development of the balanced seat and communication with the horse through dressage basics. Lessons are geared towards the rider who wants to advance their horsemanship skills.

The instructor is CHA certified instructor and is focused on the safety of horse and rider.

Lesson Rates:
$50/ one hour individual lesson
$25/ one hour individual lesson
$30/ half hour semi- private lesson
$25/ half hour Tiny Tot lessons starting at 2 1/2 years of age (walking/trotting and care on miniature horse)

We have several lesson horses available!
We utilize headsets to increase communication between rider and instructor when needed.

Riding Academy
The program which sets El Camino Ranch above and beyond other ranches is our finely tuned RIDING ACADEMY. We began giving lessons occasionally back in 1989. Since that time we have added a team of instructors, and a team of lesson horses, a curriculum of instruction, a schedule book full of lessons, birthday parties, Girl Scout activities, and other educational projects, along with many dedicated parents and individuals who make the weekly trek to El Camino. These are the back bone of this progressive program. We teach students, from age 5 years and up to tack up a horse, to mount a horse, to balance on the back of the horse, and to walk, trot, and canter/lope. As the student advances they may learn to ride a Saddle Seat horse, or to drive a pony in a cart. A few more advanced students learn to jump a horse over cross rails, and perhaps up to three feet. Anything we can do SAFELY, we will do. Our tiniest students, ages 3 and up, learn to groom a horse with our three Miniature Horses. Our lesson horses have all been professionally trained.  Several have been successful Show Horses, and most all are 8 years old or older, and have calm, quiet dispositions, so that they are safe for children or new adult riders.  They are Arabians, Half Arabians, and a few are other breeds.  They will all challenge you to excel to any level you wish to achieve.  These very special mares and geldings are the jewels of the ranch, and are loved by every student who has ever ridden in the Riding Academy Program, or observed these dedicated horses. Our goal here at Destiny Ranch, is of course to teach kids how to ride, but also alot of other ways equines can enrich our lives. We are dedicated to making sure that everyone has a great time riding, and also form a bond with one of our AMAZING lesson horses.



We want to teach everyone how, to not only have proper position and control over their horse, and their own body but also, how to have a blast while doing so! We hope that over time, our students learn pateince, dedication, hard work, balance, strength, focus, and that even horses have their good and bad days. Hi, Our names are Emma Wexler and Skye Carr. We are both 14 and very accomplished riders.



Emma, our English Trainer, has been riding for 10 years now and has competed in Inland Empire Hunter Jumper Circut and all across Southern California showing with various barns on differents shiw ponies and horses, always in the ribbons. She is also a student in the art of dressage which requires a strong bond between the horse and rider.



Skye, our Western Trainer, Has been ridding scince she was 3 and has competed in Barrels, Gymkanah, and various Rodeo Events. She is a very determined rider and spends every spare moment out with her horse and pony.

We offer lesson horses and tack! All your little buckaroo needs is a good attitude, long pants, closed toed shoes or ridding boots, and a helmet of some sort! ( If you don't have a helmet we can find one for you!)

Private 1 hour: $15



Private 1/2 hour:$8



Group lesson 1 hour: $10



Summer/Winter Day Camps: $60 a week for 5 days from 9 A.M-2 P.M (extended hours apon request if needed)

After 2:30 on Week Days



All students are expected to be here 15 minutes before scheduled ride time to help tack up!
