Welcome to Spurling’s Hidden Treasures Riding Academy! You’re new home for horseback riding lessons for adults and children ages 6 and up! I was the original horseback riding instructor of Gallberry Stables in Hope Mills, NC and have moved to my own facility with a new name!

My name is Tiffany Spurling and I have been riding Horses for over 22 years and training horses and riders alike for the better part of 14 years now. Throughout that time I have acquired my own horses that are very good with the most beginner riders to the most advanced riders.

I offer my services to beginners through advanced. I have taught many riding styles such as Western Pleasure, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, other Speed/Fun Events, Hunter/Jumper, Show Jumping, Cross-Country/ Eventing, Equitation, and Dressage. HAUL INS FOR LESSONS ARE WELCOME!

I do not claim to be a "certified" trainer, however, I have had many people tell me they have learned more in one lesson with me than they have in a year with a "certified" trainer. In the horseworld, just because one is certified does not mean they are the most knowledgeable. Most good trainers have had a lot of experience and never think they are too old or advanced to learn something new.

I have also worked under and trained horses with Cutting Horse Champion Jerry King. However, I do not offer cutting lessons. I learned from him how to start a horse from the ground up and how to train problem horses as well with great success.

We participate in local shows and take part in events at the Carolina Horse Park and many other show venues. We have a very family friendly environment so come join us in the equestrian experience!

Bright Star Stables is a non-profit therapeutic riding center. The program serves both the physically and mentally disable communities. Bright Star Stables offers therapeutic riding lessons, hippotherapy, and the opportunity for compete in equine events. Students will be taught equine care, riding, handling, and management to their best level of ability. Students will also be involved to the level of their ability, skill, and interest in competition and training horses.

Therapeutic lessons are conducted at a NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) certified facility located in Rougemont, NC. MWM riding Camp is family owned and operated. We provide lessons for ages 3 and up. We are taking our youth off the streets and putting them in a saddle.
