The setting of a beautiful canyon in Sunland/Tujunga is the perfect place to advance under the careful instruction of the wonderful instructors at Epona Riding Academy. Silver Spur Stables is one of the oldest barns in Glendale, California. Next to the Los Angeles Equestrian Center and adjacent to Griffith Park Trails, while it offers boarding and lessons, it is currently hiring for equestrian trainers for it's equestrian summer day camp for children. Day camp till operate through June-September, Mondays through Friday, between the hours of 8am-5pm. Silver Spur Stables is in the need of two riding instructors who will also act as day camp counselors for children ages 8-15 years. Teaching riding has been a lifelong dream, and riding, instructing and horses are my passion! We are currently looking for all levels of rider of both adults and children.
We offer lessons to the beginner through advanced rider focusing on development of the balanced seat and communication with the horse through dressage basics. Lessons are geared towards the rider who wants to advance their horsemanship skills.

The instructor is CHA certified instructor and is focused on the safety of horse and rider.

Lesson Rates:
$50/ one hour individual lesson
$25/ one hour individual lesson
$30/ half hour semi- private lesson
$25/ half hour Tiny Tot lessons starting at 2 1/2 years of age (walking/trotting and care on miniature horse)

We have several lesson horses available!
