Over 30 years teaching and showing experience. Teaching beginners through advanced students. Teaching children five years old and up. Experienced lesson horses and ponies available. Indoor and outdoor arenas. Available Monday through Saturday.

Horseback riding lessons available in Western and English disciplines for all ages. Our students range from 3 years old to retired adults looking to get back into riding or just learning for the first time. We have students competing in Western Pleasure, Ranch Riding, Speed Events, English Pleasure, Hunt Seat, Hunter Hack, Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, as well as Horsemanship, Showmanship, and Halter.

Lessons are on our horses or yours, you are welcome to visit and watch a lesson or we can put you in contact with one of our students or parents as a reference. We have been teaching lessons in Clinton, Oak Ridge and Knoxville for years and have 20+ years in competing and teaching. Current member in good standing of the US Equestrian Federation, the American Quarter Horse Association, and the US Dressage Federation, we are fully insured and work hard to provide a safe and fun learning environment.

We also offer finish work training for your horse and advice and consultation if you are thinking about buying a horse.

We are located at Miller Hollow Farm in Clinton. Pasture board is available at Miller Hollow and full care stall board is coming soon! Multiple riding areas and trails make Miller Hollow a great new home for your horse!

S&S Equestrian gives affordable riding lessons to adults and children ages 5 and up. We give beginner riding lessons, barrel racing lessons, summer camps, and hosts birthday parties too. Horses are provided in lessons. S&S will train your green broke horses as well. Specializing in dressage, I am a USDF bronze and silver medalist (competed successfully through Prix St. Georges)on self-trained horses. I utilize classical methods that adhere to the training scale and work with the horse's specific psychology instead of a "one for all" training philosophy. I work closely with my students to design specific training programs that best fit their needs and allow them to maximize their potential. Whether you are a serious competitor or simply desire to develop your horse as an athlete and partner, my belief is that each client deserves the same quality of training and personal attention. Located in the heart of Brentwood Tennessee The Trish Franks School of Riding LLC is geared to the beginner thru intermediate adult or Youth rider. The Riding School has 7 certified instructors with accumulative experience of over 200 years. Adult professional instructors specialize in developing the beginner rider to enjoy English or Western Disciplines.

The latest addition to the team of instructors is a Natural Horsemanship Instructor with years of training and competes regularly in the Mustang Makeover Contest. Specialities of The Trish Franks School of Riding is English Equitation over Fences and the western discipline of Reining. Both disciplines have a year round show schedule for those that want the competitive side of horses. The school currently has 43 lesson/show horses available for instruction and competition at all levels. Students do not have to own their own horses.

The school has a yearly Interscholastic Equestrian Team (IEA) for middle and high school students to compete in English and Western events. Instructors work together to formulate the perfect Riding plan for your student whether their desire is competition or for pleasure. Summers are filled with camps and "Barn Days" throughout the summer.
