Luella Stables offers boarding, lessons for the beginner and intermediate rider and trail riding for all ages and requires no prior experience to participate. Lessons are offered Monday through Thursday. We specialize in first time riders and molding each student into all around equestrians. Students experience grooming, saddling, feeding, bathing and more about the overall experience of owning a horse. Students are welcome at the age of 4 and 5 but they are truly capable of gaining the most at ages 6 and up. I suggest our Friday night rides to children younger than 6 and please bring the entire family! It's only $10 per person for a 20 minute trail ride. We offer this every Friday 4:30 to dark. Devon Olivier is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia. She rode on the eventing team while attending college. She was on the 2016 USEA collegiate national championship team. She won the Open Prelim division at FENCE horse trials on 4-17-17 on her horse Karisma. She won the Open Prelim division at Paradise Farms on 2-17-17. Devon has won the individual Gold in the intercollegiate challenge at Chattahoochee Hills horse trials twice while on the UGA eventing team. Devon has trained numerous Off the Track Thoroughbreds and has gone to multiple national competitions with her horses. Devon has been a working student for Michael and Sharon Poulin (Bronze Medal at the Barcelona Olympics in dressage). While there she worked on getting correct and effective dressage training under her belt. She then worked for Mollie Zobel in South Carolina who was an upper level event trainer. Devon has worked with or taken lessons with Doug Payne, Elly Schobel, Michael Poulin, Sharon Poulin, Gwen Poulin. She has taken clinics with Werner Geven, Dom Schramm, Kyle Carter, Leslie Law, Jon Holling just to name a few. Devon offers lessons in dressage, jumpers and eventing. Devon has training privileges at Ashland Farms in Walnut Grove which offers a cross country course from starter thru Prelim. They also have two dressage arenas and a jumping arena. I teach western riding lessons for ages 4 through adult. I have a 15 year record of safety and success with hundreds of riders both for recreation and competition. I own 17 horses and have my students learn to ride as many of them as possible so that they become excellent riders with many different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Our farm trains for and holds competitive trail riding competitions for those who wish to compete. We have miles of trails and many areas to ride. I teach 5 days a week, but I have a staff of instructors that allow us to teach 7 days a week. One thing that sets us apart from other farms is that we teach the rider the best control and balance by not using stirrups until the rider is at an advanced level. This teaches the rider to grip with his/her body and to become one with the horse when moving through the various gaits. We also teach the rider to use gentle aids that do not require much force and that foster building relationships with the horses. We teach low jumping for western riding as well for those who wish to jump obstacles out on the trail. My staff and I teach with patience and allow riders to learn at their own pace. We make the experience highly instructional in a fun and relaxed manner for the rider. Red Star Equestrian is a family oriented farm located in Maysville, GA offering beginner and intermediate english and western riding lessons for ages 6 and up. Lessons include learning how to groom brush the horse, saddle, and ride with an emphasis on safety and fun! Instructor Kristin Taylor has been riding horses for over 20 years and instructing for 10 years. A horse trainer and riding instructor for over 40 years, Sandi has extensive experience working with a variety of challenges and unique situations, including:

• Adult beginner riders
• Riders returning after a long break
• Riders dealing with fear and confidence issues
• Horses with a history of abuse and mishandling
• Horses with limited, incomplete, or incorrect training
• Horses of many different breeds and temperaments
