Conveniently located, The Equestrian Reserve is in Alpharetta close to Johns Creek, Duluth, Cumming, Suwanee, and outlying communities. We are just 15 minutes north of the Atlanta perimeter.

At The Equestrian Reserve, we are certain you will discover there is no other equestrian program that offers such dynamic instructional programs meeting the needs of all riders including children ages 4 -18 and adults.

Whether a beginner or an advanced rider, we have developed numerous age appropriate introductory programs, a strong lesson program providing an ongoing skill based four level lesson continuum certificate program, and advanced equestrian opportunities.

Our school has well trained schooling and performance show horses to enable us to offer all around instruction utilizing AQHA standards. We train you in the disciplines: English Hunt Seat including equitation, hunter under saddle and jumping and/or Western Pleasure including horsemanship, showmanship, trail and western riding. Although there is no pressure to enter the world of showing, the opportunity is there as we have created a forty member competition team serving as a springboard for equestrians to compete on the national circuit.

Because of her previous years as a teacher and elementary school principal in the school system, she has truly created a unique equestrian academy and horseback riding school that has sound educational practices with safety always at the forefront. My goal is to foster a love of horsemanship and teach the proper techniques in caring for our equine friends. Students are taught to fully appreciate the responsibilities and rewards of being an equestrian and to develop a life-long respect for horses while learning self discipline, patience, perseverance and self confidence. I offer Western lessons. My students will learn the proper way to behave around horses, how to care for them, how to ride and why things are done the way they are; and to become accomplished, competent and independent riders. My lessons are designed for groups family members or one on one private lessons. I have owned, trained, and given lessons for 14 years. I am creating this new program for home schoolers. Hi there! I'm a Dressage Rider, Trainer, L Judge and clinician. I am an USDF Bronze & Silver medalist and also an L Program Graduate with Distinction and working on my USEF little r application. I do lots of types of clinics - Ride a Test, Western dressage, Pony Club, etc. I have a pretty unique style in that I work with riders on the ground to get body awareness as I'm also a AFAA certified fitness professional and then work on their position to see how they can influence their horse correctly, kindly and classically without fighting or frustration.
