We offer lessons for riders interested in Hunter/Jumpers or Western Pleasure and now offering Ranch Horse training. Students are encouraged to go to monthly horse shows with our show team. Horses are available to lesson on or boarding is available so you can lesson on your own horse. Private and semi private lessons are offered to students. We treat both horse and rider with respect and patience. Taking all participants into consideration. We enjoy problem solving and improving the communication between the rider and their equine partner. Leasing and sales are also available. My true passion is with beginners, to bring them into the equine community so they may learn responsibility, respect for animals, promote physical and emotional well being, as well as having lots of fun. We am by no means limited to beginners as we love bringing the more advanced students to shows to show off their talents and learn where to improve upon. Students of all ages accepted. Full and partial boarding options available. Walking distance to Helen Howard and Tingler Park. We attend shows regularly and have barn group trail rides. All disciplines welcome! Our amenities include a covered arena with a sand clay mix footing that is well maintained and has a comfortable observation area, all day or all night turnout, shavings added three times a week, stalls cleaned twice daily, automatic waterers, t&a hay 3 times a day and Nutrena Grain fed twice a day. Professional instruction by experienced riding instructor/trainer. I instruct children and adults and beginners to advanced. I have had riders and horses win on the "A" breed circuit, and have also had riders and horses win at Nationals and Top 10 at the World show for Morgans.

I keep lessons safe and fun and educational. I focus on developing a strong abdominal core for balance and strength. My facility, Arbordale LLC, is beautiful with covered riding and an air-conditioned viewing lounge for parents and friends and is convenient to both I-75 and I-275. I have a wonderful selection of lesson and show horses that I use for instruction.

I instruct riders in saddleseat, hunter seat, western pleasure, and harness. My focus is on the Morgan and Saddlebred breeds. I do take riders to little local shows and they can progress to larger breed shows and even Nationals if the opportunity presents. My pricing is affordable.

Kris Di Carlo Equestrian is a full care, full training show barn located just 15 miles East of Hwy 75 in Bradenton Florida. With over 13 years experience in the Hunter/jumper show industry Kris has a handle on just what it takes to succeed and meet rider's and horse's goals. Kris has worked all over the country for top trainers in the industry, including farms in Texas, Colorado, New Mexico and California. Most notably for top International rider and trainers Jenni and Steve Mc Allister in California. After working for the best Kris has finally been able to put all is knowledge to work for himself and has opened his own farm. Kris started his career early on a breeding farm in New Mexico where he learned how to raise foals and break babies.

Seeking to learn the methodologies of training and horsemanship at the highest caliber, Kris moved to California to work with international Grand Prix and Longines FEI World Cup rider Jenni Martin-McAllister and Steve McAllister.

It was here that Kris tuned his talents both as a rider and trainer with an extensive focus in work on the flat and gymnastics.The core of the program uses a sensitive approach to unlocking the horses’ muscles while riding, through massage and stretching. On several occasions Kris also had the unique opportunity to work closely with Buddy Brown. As Assistant Trainer to Jenni Martin-McAllister and Steve McAllister he worked long-hours diligently riding young horses, teaching and showing.

Kris competed on the “A” circuit at prestigious shows such as: Pebble Beach, Del Mar, the Oaks, and HITS Thermal Desert Circuit from Hunter Derbies to Grand Prix jumpers. Aboard “Fly” he successfully competed through the 1.45m jumper divisions. Onboard his mare, Shalimar he has successfully competed through the Grand Prix jumper Divisions.

Kris successfully trained students from beginners all the way to the Grand Prix. In 2014 Kris made the decision to open his own equestrian training facility, Kris Di Carlo Equestrian, that would ultimately allow for him to continue his dedication to the maintenance and well-being of horse and rider. The philosophy of classical horsemanship along with a growing understanding of the mechanics of the horse gives Kris the expertise to successfully care for and train a diverse group of horses and riders. Through his in depth knowledge of flatwork and gymnastics, Kris instills in horse and rider confidence and understanding of the technical aspects of jumping.

This system translates into success over courses and in the show ring. His knowledge, enthusiasm and dedication to horse and rider makes Kris an ideal trainer. Respect and encouragement is the keystone to his training program.
