My goal is to foster a love of horsemanship and teach the proper techniques in caring for our equine friends. Students are taught to fully appreciate the responsibilities and rewards of being an equestrian and to develop a life-long respect for horses while learning self discipline, patience, perseverance and self confidence.

We offer a safe learning enviroment in a fun , family oriented atmosphere . Instruction based on ability - from those just staring out , to the more advanced rider looking to make some shows . Our instructor has experience from the saddle and coaching in IEA and IHSA , and currently coaches a college IHSA team . Celestial Riding Academy provides riding instruction in English riding with an emphasis on the three phases of eventing for those who are interested. Devon Olivier is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia. She rode on the eventing team while attending college. She was on the 2016 USEA collegiate national championship team. She won the Open Prelim division at FENCE horse trials on 4-17-17 on her horse Karisma. She won the Open Prelim division at Paradise Farms on 2-17-17. Devon has won the individual Gold in the intercollegiate challenge at Chattahoochee Hills horse trials twice while on the UGA eventing team. Devon has trained numerous Off the Track Thoroughbreds and has gone to multiple national competitions with her horses. Devon has been a working student for Michael and Sharon Poulin (Bronze Medal at the Barcelona Olympics in dressage). While there she worked on getting correct and effective dressage training under her belt. She then worked for Mollie Zobel in South Carolina who was an upper level event trainer. Devon has worked with or taken lessons with Doug Payne, Elly Schobel, Michael Poulin, Sharon Poulin, Gwen Poulin. She has taken clinics with Werner Geven, Dom Schramm, Kyle Carter, Leslie Law, Jon Holling just to name a few. Devon offers lessons in dressage, jumpers and eventing. Devon has training privileges at Ashland Farms in Walnut Grove which offers a cross country course from starter thru Prelim. They also have two dressage arenas and a jumping arena. I teach western riding lessons for ages 4 through adult. I have a 15 year record of safety and success with hundreds of riders both for recreation and competition. I own 17 horses and have my students learn to ride as many of them as possible so that they become excellent riders with many different breeds, sizes, and personalities. Our farm trains for and holds competitive trail riding competitions for those who wish to compete. We have miles of trails and many areas to ride. I teach 5 days a week, but I have a staff of instructors that allow us to teach 7 days a week. One thing that sets us apart from other farms is that we teach the rider the best control and balance by not using stirrups until the rider is at an advanced level. This teaches the rider to grip with his/her body and to become one with the horse when moving through the various gaits. We also teach the rider to use gentle aids that do not require much force and that foster building relationships with the horses. We teach low jumping for western riding as well for those who wish to jump obstacles out on the trail. My staff and I teach with patience and allow riders to learn at their own pace. We make the experience highly instructional in a fun and relaxed manner for the rider. We make sure that all riders learn to catch, groom, tack, and lunge the horses they ride so that they get the full experience and move towards independence.... See More

Over 35 years' experience in the equestrian industry, 14 years as a professional. I believe that riding should be fun and safe. I was taught by many wonderful trainers like; Berry Lane, Linda Allen, Daniel Geitner, and more. My focus is to ensure the rider has a strong and balanced leg, seat, and upper body. I believe a jump is simply a jump, it's how you ride between the jumps that matter.
I teach based on how each rider learns. I understand that every rider learns at their own pace, and I structure each lesson according to the rider's needs. I will not over face a rider, but I do ask a rider to step out of their comfort zone periodically, in a safe and understanding manor. I ask the riders to challenge themselves, not me forcing them.

I only offer private or semi private lessons. However, in the beginning I want a rider in a private setting so I can understand them and the rider can learn how I teach. Beginner riders are only private lessons, for their safety.

Wisteria Farms offers lessons from the beginner to the advanced A circut rider. We offer training packages and horses for lease and sale. We also offer full board with the owner living on site.

On our pony, horse, or yours, we offer horseback riding lessons from the 4 year old lead line student thru adult advanced dressage. We also teach comprehensive horsemanship which includes caring for, grooming and tacking, and untacking the horse after the ride. We teach the classic balanced seat. After a good foundation is set, we move into the english dressage dicipline, hunt seat, jumping, and eventing.

Casey began riding in 1989, when she was 5yo. at Chastain Stables, in Atlanta GA, learning Hunter/Jumpers. In 1990 she start competing in the Hunters. Casey moved to Roswell GA and started riding and competing in local and the 'A's with Linda Allen in Marietta, GA. After She moved down to McDonough, GA she started riding with Barry Lane. She moved back to Roswell in 1999 and started showing in 'AA' Jumpers with Bob Buxton. After moving back to McDonough, Casey went to Merideth Manor International Equestrian School in Waverly, WV where she studied Equine Health and Equine Massage Therapy. After school she rode with Barbara Bancroft until she moved back down to GA. She opened Creekwood Stables and rode with Daniel Geitner.
During operating Creekwood Stables, Casey has produced many Hunters and Jumpers that have won from local - AA shows through out the zone. She has produced many horses that have continued to win in the Hunter, Jumper, and Equitation arenas. Her riders have won in all three arenas from local - AA shows.... See More
