We welcome all disciplines, teach students of all ages, and have terrific lesson horses. Our mission is to help students achieve their individual goals, from true beginners that have never touched a horse, to those wishing to sharpen their Hunter/Jumper or Eventing skills, to those that need to erase a fearful experience in their past.

Lynchland has 4 instructors, and 2 that focus solely on childrens lessons. Your child will learn horses from A to Z, top to bottom, and toe to tail. If you are looking for a place for the kids to really learn, and not just sit on top of a horse, you've come to the right place! We have over a dozen lesson horses that we can choose from to match our students personality and goals - both short and long term.

Did I mention our facilities? We have a huge indoor arena - which means we ride all year long! We also have an amazing, lit outdoor arena, a designated lesson arena, a round pen, a dressage arena, and a 4 acre cross country jumping field. I guess we believe that variety is the spice of life!

We're not a fancy place, and expect our students and boarders to dig in and get dirty! We encourage participation in all areas - from painting jumps, to planting carrot gardens, to working with vets and farriers, and assisting with horse rescues. Our students do us proud - and continue to be part of Team Lynchland throughout their lives.

Currently I am working with students ages 5+ in all disciplines from first-time riders to advanced, experienced riders with just a few spots left. Whether for fun or for fine-tuning for shows, lessons are available on one of our many safe lesson horses or on your own horse. Training or starting of your horse is also available.
I believe everyone and every horse is an individual with individual needs and wants. I will work with you to set goals and a training plan, and I will take you to where you want to be as a rider and as a good horseman/horsewoman. Aside from learning how to be a safe, confident, capable, and happy rider with a happy horse, you can also learn all aspects of horse care and safe horse handling.
If you are an advanced rider, I will help you fine tune your skills and take you to the next level of balanced connected riding, helping you to get everything your horse can give you without stifling their ability or movement.
If you are a beginner, whether child or adult, I will give you the basic building blocks to give you a strong foundation for whatever goals you have with horses whether just for fun or for competing.
I grew up in South Florida and was involved in 4H and pony club as in my childhood. I showed at local and A-rated hunter/jumper shows. I trained under such trainers as Pablo Gamboa (hunter/jumper), Linda Smith (hunter/jumper), Peter Trappman (hunter/jumper and dressage), and I was a working student for Jeanette Sassoon (dressage). I moved to Fort Collins in 2001 and continued my education with top Morgan Horse trainers in all disciplines (saddle seat, driving, hunter eq and pleasure, western eq and pleasure, etc.). I began training professionally and by 2003 my clients and horses were showing successfully on the Morgan Circuit on a local and National level.

Each and every horse and rider have their own path to follow in order to reach their goal. Time frames are not important when you learn to enjoy and trust the path you are on rather than trying to rush to complete your goals. Pam Thode of Meadowlark’s Song is hosting a program FREE to Veterans sponsored by The Sunny Horse Foundation. The name of the program is VETERANS EQUINE EXPERIENCE. This program is designed to bring Veterans and horses together in purpose-driven ground work exercises. Classes are held weekly on Wednesday at 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Our lead instructor has over 7 years designing and working with Veterans in horsemanship classes. We can bring horse energy into your life! You do not need a horse or even want to ride. We are a Premier certified barn with PATH International.

Pam also works with people of all ages who want to enjoy the wonderful energy of the horse. Pam is a certified therapeutic riding instructor with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship. Red Fern Farm's trainer Kim Klein has 10 years of professional experience riding and teaching, and has trained with top riders including Bernie Traurig, Archie Cox, Joan McLaren, Mark Mead, John McConnell, and Andrea Throckmorton both in the U.S. and Europe. She has a broad background working with young horses, problem horses, and show horses, and specializes in training horses and riders to be relaxed, confident, and safe no matter what their job is.

Lessons are offered on-site on a variety of horses ranging from very safe horses that are easy for beginners to performance horses suitable for advanced riders in both English and Western disciplines. Kim is also available to travel to your facility in Northern Colorado for lessons on your own horse(s). Full or part-time training is also available for your own horse for either trailer-in or boarded horses. Regular rates are $50/1hour private lesson or $45/1hour group lesson.

Promenade Horsemanship Academy offers lessons for all ages and levels. Students learn horse behavior along with ground work and ridng skills. Learning how the horse behaves gives the students an indepth understanding of how to communicate better with the horse. We have several lesson horses or you can bring your own horse.

Current Classes:
Promenade Pony Pals - Saturday Ongoing Youth Group Lessons. For ages 6 to 18.

Youth Drill Team - Wednesdays and Saturdays. Learn drill maneuvers to music. Students make up routines and perform locally. Ages 8 to 18.

Junior Drill Team - Sundays 1:00 to 2:30 pm. Ages 6 to 9. Beginning drill maneuvers and horsemanship skills.

Lead Line Class - Fridays 12:30 to 1:30 for ages 3 to 6. Class for child and parent.

Beginning Adult Group Lessons - New class starting January 2013. Sundays from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Limited space. $150 for 5 sessions, must preregister.

Ongoing Adult Group Lessons - Tuesdays 9:30 to 11:30 am. Focus is on drill riding to do demonstrations and parades. Horsemanship skills are emphasized. Also trail ride.
