Promenade Horsemanship Academy - Natural Horsemanship Classes / Riding Instructor in Brighton, Colorado

Promenade Horsemanship Academy offers lessons for all ages and levels. Students learn horse behavior along with ground work and ridng skills. Learning how the horse behaves gives the students an indepth understanding of how to communicate better with the horse. We have several lesson horses or you can bring your own horse.

Current Classes:
Promenade Pony Pals - Saturday Ongoing Youth Group Lessons. For ages 6 to 18.

Youth Drill Team - Wednesdays and Saturdays. Learn drill maneuvers to music. Students make up routines and perform locally. Ages 8 to 18.

Junior Drill Team - Sundays 1:00 to 2:30 pm. Ages 6 to 9. Beginning drill maneuvers and horsemanship skills.

Lead Line Class - Fridays 12:30 to 1:30 for ages 3 to 6. Class for child and parent.

Beginning Adult Group Lessons - New class starting January 2013. Sundays from 2:30 to 4:00 pm. Limited space. $150 for 5 sessions, must preregister.

Ongoing Adult Group Lessons - Tuesdays 9:30 to 11:30 am. Focus is on drill riding to do demonstrations and parades. Horsemanship skills are emphasized. Also trail ride.

Private lessons on your horse or mine. Lessons customized to your needs as well as critical ground work techniques, safe riding habits, typical trail obstacles, and how to gain your horse's respect and trust so they rely on you as their leader.
