Terrific opportunity for someone looking to further their riding with a specific focus in dressage. Iliad is solid 1st level dressage (Proven show record at 1st level) and schooling all 2nd level and most 3rd level movements.

He would be best suited for someone confidently riding W/T/C; Iliad is smart and a blast to ride, but needs a semi-confident rider with soft hands, a good seat, and the ability to take an occasional testy "do you REALLY mean it?" joke. Great candidate for an AA with good feel, or Jr/YR who is looking for a step up mount with a bit more “oomph”.

Plenty of opportunities to get off site for trail rides, shows, camps, and clinics! Leaser would be welcome to show at their expense. Our barn is in Ponder (Denton area with 2 arenas, some areas to hack out on, and a fabulous lesson/ training program with an accomplished FEI rider, L graduate, and USDF
Silver Medalist.

Happy to be flexible on many of the details for the right match- as the perfect match for my perfect guy is most important. Chongo is a handsome gray ranch gelding that anyone can ride. He has been used on a ranch to doctor cattle, sort, pairs, push cattle onto trailers, check on cattle, and ride the fence line. He rides with a loose one-hand neck rein, a great backup, stop and he will ride off leg pressure. He is very smooth at the walk, trot, and canter.

He is used to our trails and obstacle courses, walks over wooden bridges, pushes swinging pipes, rides over plastic bottles, walks up/down steps, and teeter-totters. He has been ridden around the barrel pattern in the arena. He will let you carry a flag, open and close gates off of him, he has no problem walking across water/mud, down streams, through thick brush, he'll go up/down/across deep ditches and ravines, over fallen trees, through the woods with no spook. He is kid and dog-friendly, has great ground manners, is easy to catch, and gets along with our other horses, mares, and gelding alike.

Comet is a well broke palomino gelding that absolutely anyone can ride. He has been used on a ranch to check and move cattle, he has sorted pairs and pushed cattle onto trailers. He rides on a loose rein with a one hand neck rein or direct rein, has a good backup, and stop. Comet has a very smooth walk, trot, and canter.
