Carlton Ledyard traces his strong Texas roots through five generations of cattle ranchers and four generations of real estate agents operating from West Texas to the DFW area. Born and raised in Archer City, Carlton co-owns Persimmon Springs an original part of his family s ranch, which was established in 1902 and is still family operated. Carlton graduated on the dean s list from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Agriculture. He holds a Landman Certificate from Baton Rouge College and Science degree from South Plains College. He also studied real estate through The University of Texas at Arlington. During his college days, Carlton gained an interest in horses and running bird dogs through some of his favorite hunting areas. He has guided numerous deer and quail hunts for more than fourteen years on his family s ranch.
