Lakeview Farm now has openings for your best friend to retire in style on over 50 grassy acres overlooking the largest lake in Clarke County VA. We offer a peaceful, no- stress environment for you to enjoy with your best friend in their golden years. Our farm offers large and small grassy paddocks/fields to enjoy their retirement w/friends while being entertained by watching the ducks, geese, osprey, blue heron and occasional eagles that soar above (which I’m still always in awe of).
We also offer the following a la carte options (for additional charge) so you don’t have to worry about a thing:
1. Clean, bright horse barn for horses that require stall board. Barn is fully equipped with a heated tack room, refrigerator & microwave, concrete wash stall & several large but cozy, stalls now available w/fans, rubber mats & Dutch doors that allow for plenty of fresh air & natural light
2. Full or self-care fields w/hands-on care such as grooming, blanketing, worming & overseeing vet and farrier visits.

Fog Hill Stables is a small, private boarding stable providing excellent care for a limited number of horses. We offer a center aisle barn with wash rack and tack room with washer/dryer as well as a blue stone and sand arena with an excellent set of schooling jumps and a grass dressage arena.

A customized care plan is provided for all horses, and we are available to assist with vet and farrier appointments as needed. I currently have space for two geldings.

Snapps Creek Stables is the perfect alternative to the large, intense, expensive and restrictive environments of the high-end stables. We have no walls of ribbons or trophies, no horses of prestigious bloodlines, and no haughty attitudes. Consequently, you do not invariably help subsidize such activities. We don't have dress codes (except ideally helmets and heals). We don't break horses, breed, sell, host shows, offer touristy riding by the hour or accept stallions. We do have comfortable facilities, a friendly atmosphere, and a commitment to quality care of your loved one in a nurturing, informal environment. Our specialty is the care of your horse. Retirement and special needs horses are most welcome.

Although we are not competitive, does not mean that you can't be. We have all the facilities needed to fulfill your training needs with a large arena, round pen, jumps, barrels and even a storage area for your trailer.
