Current openings: 1 We are a private boarding barn on 23 acres located in Village of Vernon/Village of Big Bend WI. With 10 stalls in total we can be the cozy stable your horse calls home! At $300 a month your board includes: A stall for your horse in inclement weather.
Stall cleaning and shavings provided

Riding trails within riding and driving distance
Note: Whilst horses are under our care and apart of the herd they must: -be dewormed 2x yearly (on the same day as the entire heard)
-be vaccinated 2x yearly

We have regularly scheduled farrier visits every 6-8 weeks, spring shots and coggins with Johnson equine services and falls shots and dental with kettle moraine equine. These are available for you to join in on if you board with us, we require payment beforehand for the farrier visits unless you plan to be there when the trims are being done. We ask that anyone who boards with us provide us with current coggins and vaccinations paperwork. Treat others how you'd like to be treated, and treat the property with respect. Lazy S is a multi-discipline facility located off of Loomis Road in Muskego. We have stall board currently at $265/month and pasture board currently at $185/month. There is a large indoor arena and a large outdoor area with some trails on the property. Stall horses are fed hay/grain twice daily with supplements given at no additional cost. Pasture horses receive a weekly rotation of round bales and have access to a large barn during inclement weather. All horses have full access to grass pastures throughout the Summer months. Some of the other amenities include our heated lounge with bathroom, television with cable tv, individual tack lockers, use of Fly-Predator (very helpful for the Summer) and a regular de-worming program. There's all-day, 7-day, turnout on spacious, grassy 5+ acre pastures.We live here too, and that means you'’re welcome to ride at any time that suits your schedule - in the 10,000 sf heated indoor or large outdoor ring, or on private bridle trails through our 100 acres of woods, prairie, ponds, wetlands and fields.

With a maximum of 25 horses boarding, we have a small clientele who are virtually all adults, allowing you to have plenty of room to yourself, and to better focus on developing your skills. We accept all disciplines, but most of our clients are of the hunter discipline. Our, trainer is available Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Some of our boarders participate in lower and mid-level local shows.
