Hello everyone! Welcome to Sooner Stables ! We are a horse boarding facility located outside of Pryor! Approximately 35 minutes from Tulsa! Over 15 years of horse experience goes into taking care of these babies! We have multiple boarding options for full & self care to meet your specific needs!

Our pasture board is $180 a month

Our full care board ranges from $300-$425 a month depending on what amenities you select!

At JRD Ranch your horse will receive professional care and attention. We understand how important the safety and nutrition of your horse is and will always be dedicated to running the best facility possible.

Our large stalls and beautiful setting make this the ideal place for you and your horse.

Your horse will be feed twice a day with the high protein feed Purina Strategy and quality prairie hay.
Any supplements that your horse requires will also be administered free of charge. Water buckets are filled twice a day or as needed. Stalls are cleaned twice a day and new shavings are put in at least once a week.

We are in the process of adding on to our pasture to offer turnout in multiple pastures. We do not spread our manure in our pastures during the summer, avoiding the problems that come with parasites obtained from grazing.

We do have a riding area and are looking to install an outdoor arena in the future.

Lessons from AQHA professional Riley Dull are also available. Riley competed nationally as a youth in AQHA circuit and earned a scholarship onto the Kansas State Equestrian team. Her experience with the horse has allowed her to help those wanting to ride from the basic horsemanship skills to the national level. Since becoming a full-time trainer in 2009, Riley's students have quickly advanced from learning the fundamentals of riding to being extremely competitive in the show pen. Boarding per horse starts as low as $160 per month. Private pastures are available for $300 per month. We offer multiple care packages to choose from or if you just need help feeding and watering from time to time the cost is only $5 per day. We offer multi-horse discounts. The Stables at Shady Creek is a first rate horse boarding facility in TULSA, at the Shady Creek Guest Ranch, located just off the Broken Arrow Expressway (HWY 51) and 129th E Ave. We pride ourselves and focus on keeping and maintaining a clean and safe facility for the horse and the horse owner.

Even though stable management has more than 20 years’ experience in the horse industry, The Stables at Shady Creek is a new endeavor for this location. In spring of 2013 we will be adding a 100’x220’ outdoor arena, a 60’ round pen, and additional stalls with 40’ runs. All stalls will be upgraded with corner hayracks and feeders with aisle access, automatic waters, and ample tack storage.
