Hidden creek Family stables offers a unique combination of a show barn and a family friendly stable. Not only are we a quality ran facility but we realize the economic state and offer our services for realistic rates. Full board including a stall with turnout, daily cleaning,hay/grain twice daily (unlimited hay) Indoor arena, outdoor arena,round pen,climate controlled office/viewing room. LESSONS........ 1 hour lessons on our school horses (or your horse) is only $15 for a group lesson (2-4 riders) Our horses are all well broke quiet show horses (quarter horses and paints) we do Huntseat/english, western,showmanship,trail. we also do beginner dressage and jumping... We show all summer long at local horse shows and encourage our students to take part in the competitions (as young as 3 yrs old!) We keep showing affordable so everyone can participate. New Horizons Farm LLC, home of New Horizons Haflinger Sporthorses on ten beautiful acres in Bath, Michigan, just outside of East Lansing is a private breeding farm which averages nine horses on premises including boarder horses. Stall board and pasture board available. Pasture horses have use of a stall during severe weather. Conveniently located just 3 1/2 miles off of Interstate 69 (Bath exit) on 1/2 mile stretch of paved road. Owner lives on premises and has over twenty years experience breeding, raising, showing horses. Multiple paddocks and pastures of varying sizes to meet your horse's needs, some with three and four board fence and others with coated wire/electric, almost all with large run in three sided sheds. Winter paddocks have extra large/extra tall 24 x 12 three sided steel run in sheds and access to automatic heated waterers. Ten stall horse barn with insulated roof has six 12 x 12 spacious, bright, matted stalls with large windows and four @10 x 12 stalls with windows that easily convert into double stalls for foaling. Attached 18 x 32 heated two story addition has tack/lounge area with a keuring coffee maker for those cold days, microwave and small refridgerator downstairs, and bedroom (for foaling season)/office upstairs. Outdoor wash rack. Horse friendly community with miles of dirt roads to ride on, or trailer your horse to Rose Lake riding trails just a few miles away, or Sleepy Hollow State Park riding trails about ten minutes away. Only twenty minutes from MSU, excellent farrier and vet services available. Spacious 60 x 110 indoor arena with excellent footing (2NS sand over limestone fines, compacted) treated for dust. Free horse trailer parking. Outdoor grass arena is approximately 70 x 200 with old footing from indoor under grass. Most paddocks and outdoor arena tiled for drainage so they stay dry. Excellent quality grass (or grass/alfalfa mix) hay fed. Tribute Essential K and owner provided grain and supplements fed. Perfect situation for the right people looking for drama-free environment with great boarders. References available from our clients and references required of new clients. Pelleted bedding used in stalls except mare and foal stalls, which use straw at foaling time. No stallions, but mares and geldings welcome, including pregnant mares. We are a full care boarding facility with a choice of stall board or pasture board. We have a 60x80 indoor, a 80x175 outdoor,and tack lockers for our boarders. Here your horse comes first! Each horse is feed per their own dietary needs. Horses are grained at least 2x a day and feed hay 3x a day. A de-worming program is included in our boarding prices.
