While we specialize in Eventing, Hunter/Jumper, Equitation and Dressage, we are open to all disciplines of riding and breeds of horses. We are a hunter/jumper training barn located in Fountain Inn, SC and dedicated to helping horses and riders grow to reach their full potential as competitive show jumpers. We communicate with each owner or rider to set individual goals and personalized training programs to achieve them. Fiddle Creek Farm is an equine retirement home. Pasture board is recommended as many seniors have arthritis. Each 3 acre paddock has a three-sided run in. All horses are brought into the barn and fed twice daily. Stalls are a roomy 16x16 with mounted fans with misters. Horses will be stalled during inclement winter weather.
Boarding fee is $200 per month. This includes quality senior feed supplemented with soaked shredded beet pulp and soaked alfalfa cubes as most senior horses are no longer able to effectively chew grass or hay. Hay is given even if they are only able to quid their forage. Hooves are trimmed every 4 weeks during the summer and every 6 weeks during winter. Twice yearly veterinarian visits for vaccinations, boosters, rabies and pulling of Coggins are billed to the owners.
The owner, a certified ARIA barn manager, has worked extensively rehabbing and caring for rescued horses during the last 12 years. As a result she is very aware of the needs and care of older horses. We have a NEW barn that was completed in May 2013! The new barn features: 12x12 stalls with windows, drop-down stall fronts fans and INSULATED ceiling for climate control inside the barn, blanket racks, stall mats and horse-friendly feeders. The tackroom locks and has a boarders' bathroom WITH SHOWER. The barn also has a hot and cold wash rack. This barn has an attached apartment where the owner/manager will be living. This barn/apartment combo features a smoke alarm system in the barn that alerts the apartment and visa-versa. Nightly checks will be preformed in the barn and our horses are supervised nearly 24/7.

We specialize in taking individualized care of each horse and meeting the specific needs and wishes of each owner. We offer access to a 230'x115' stone dust riding arena with jumps (similar to those found at Harmon Field and FENCE), twice a day feeding with Seminole grains, plenty of fescue hay (or Timothy upon request and for an additional charge), premium low-dust BAGGED pine shavings, daily turnout and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Our barn enjoys attending horse shows, hunter paces and trail rides along with having a good time on our quiet farm.

Our pastures are never over-crowded and private turnout is available for an additional charge. We have been in business for 5 years and the owner/manager has 20 years of horse experience including caring for the horses of an Olympic silver medalist and also holds a Horse Production minor from Clemson University. We have a hunt seat instructor on-site that can offer lessons and/or horse or pony training and we also offer stall-rest and rehabilitation work for injured horses.
