We are a boarding, training, and lesson facility located just 15 minutes south of Charlottesville, VA (very short drive to UVA). We love all types of horses, whether they be young or old, retired or just starting, or somewhere in between. We are a laid back family oriented barn, that prides itself on the drama free atmosphere and horse focused care.

Our horses in training go to horse shows and trailering is available to boarders who desire to go to the same shows or even different ones. We specialize in training, starting and restarting horses (particularly Thoroughbreds) so that they understand the job they have and learn to love what they do. We truly get to know each horse and understand what makes each individual animal unique. All horses are respected and appreciated here and given exceptional care.

The farm is a quiet and peaceful family farm with a 7 stall center aisle barn with tack room, wash rack, and bathroom, a two stall secondary barn, a 200 x 115 ft sand riding ring with hunter/jumper jumps and beautiful trails that take one around the property. Stall board includes premium feed 2x a day, high quality hay, turn out, and blanketing as needed.

Stall board starts at $500 a month, and training and rehabilitation pricing is tailored to the individual horse. Blue Ridge Boarding just opened!! Located in greenwood, Virginia. We have large spacious field available to board your Horse/pony as well as a couple stall available. Beautiful views to enjoy! Hundreds of acres to trail ride as well as a few ponds to cool down in. Very friendly, helpful, and laid back environment every day! We have a ring available to all boarders and training available! Services included feeding 2x per day, blanketing or fly spray/mask (weather appropriate), use of barn, arena, trails, and we are open to any request to help you!

Graywood is a riding barn, located near the tri-county corner of Culpeper, Madison, & Orange! 25 beautiful acres with access to miles of riding trails and an 8-stall barn. The riding ring is 200x120 with stone dust & sand footing and equipped with nice jumps. There is also a small round pen for ground work. Graywood is a family friendly farm that is happy to accommodate riders and horse lovers of all ages and experience levels (group and privet lessons). We are able to do theraputic riding classes as well (private lessons only). We believe in creating a safe and fun environment where everyone is encouraged to be the best they can be.

We offer retirement board and will have an opening available in spring 2016.We understand that the older or chronically unsound horse has different needs and that it can be stressful finding the perfect retirement home. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe facility and offering the best quality care possible. Board is $300/ month and includes:

-Free-choice hay and grain as needed (particularly hard keepers may be charged for extra grain)
-Weekly grooming
-Regular deworming (with yearly fecal egg counts performed by our veterinarian to ensure the efficacy of our deworming program)
-Regular professional hoof trims
-Blanket and fly mask/sheet changes
-Small turnout group sizes in well-maintained fields, safe fencing, and multiple checks per day
