Tall Pines Equine Rescue has been in operation since 2007 and has helped rescue, rehab and re-home numerous horses and dogs. We work closely with a equine nutritionist, our vet's only clients are horses and we take what we do seriously. The year 2011 will be a mile stone for us. We have already applied and have faith that our own 501(c)(3) non profit status will come through making all donations tax deductible. Our operation is on a small scale and will remain small to guarantee each animal will always have the best food, vet care, training and one on one that we can offer. Horses remain with us until his/her personality has been uncovered to make the perfect human match. Contracts, home visit's and updates from new owners all always required. We serve as a first come first serve basis, so open stalls are not always available, but we also network with other rescues in and out of Ohio to try and re-home. We own a 36 acre 1st class equine facility just outside Dayton Ohio. It has been built from scratch with the horses well being the main factor. All the horses have their own matted stall with access to water 24/7. They have a light to help their owners see @ night and a roof over their head to store some supplies. Their feed is in a colic proof container in front of their stall and supplies can be stored in a heated tack room. The horses have their own turn-out lot with a water spigot or can go into a group lot. If weather is bad they can go out to stretch in a mud-lot. They can be work, trained, or enjoyed in our 60' round pen, 60' X 120' Indoor arena, 1/2 mile exercise track, or on a near-by trail. If your horse needs to be cooled down or just needs cleaned up use our horse wash house to do so. We are a 21 Stall barn located just 5 minutes off of I-71 and 20 minutes from the World Equestrian Center. We are offering full, partial and self care contracts as well as weekly and over-night boarding. We have 3 small daily turnout pastures and one large day/over-night turnout pasture. We have a large 80x200 indoor arena as well as a large round pen located in the back of the property. The barn managers live on site and are willing to help with whatever you need!
