Heulwen Farm is a family owned farm on 15 acres. Only 10 minuets south of I90, and the Chardon Square. We offer full board, and lessons. Our farm provides a relaxing environment for any aged horse ranging from a young active equine to the retired equine. We treat each horse as their own and design high quality forage based diets. We strive to create a horse safe environment and put the horses needs first. Horses get out daily with daily stall cleaning. Not only do we have trails on our property there is a Metro park 1,000 ft from the driveway with over 10 miles of trails. There is an indoor arena and outdoor ring with new sand footing. Equipped for all disciplines. Space for a tack trunk and trailer parking are available. The facility manager is available for riding lessons, on your horse or ours! Lana purchased the neighboring property to increase turnout and expand the useable space for her horses and riders. We offer a couple of great services the first is Full care which includes 10x12 amish built dirt stall, 63 acreas of avalible turnout the mare pasture is 23 acrea and the gelding pasture is 40 acreas. We clean the stalls and turnout every day, horses are fed twice a day with purina strategy pellets and quality Grass Hay. Horses buckets are dumped as needed and filled every day. This runs $360/Month

The other option we have is partial care. This includes 7 day turnout and feeding AM/PM. Owner is responsiple for cleaning the stall every day and providing all grain hay and bedding. This runs $190/Month. Hay service is avalible for partial care for an aditional $55/month... See More

At our stables we can offer, training, breaking and hour long private lessons. We own a 34 acre property, 29 acres of which is wooded, has several streams and many trails. We also do offer trailering to the local metro parks, especially to the Hinckley Bridle trails less than a mile away. During hunt season we also trailer to Foxhunting fixtures (subject to both horse and rider capabilities). Unlike most stables in the area, we do not have hidden charges such as for blanketing, turnout, or holding for the vet and farriers. The owner and trainer lives on property.
