Secret Stables is located on 10 acres. We are a family owned and operated facility open from 9:00AM - 9:00PM. We like to treat each of the horses as if they are our own, and go above and beyond to make sure that the horses receive the care that they need. We offer Indoor Boarding, Outdoor Boarding, Lessons (to those that own their own horse), and Exercising. All breeds and styles of riding are welcome! We have 9 stalls and 3 pastures, as well as 4 dry lots. We also cut and bale our own hay so we can guarantee your horse is only fed quality hay! We currently have one trail that is within walking distance of our property that is well kept and cut back through out the spring, summer, and fall months. Private & quiet facility on 73 acres with groomed riding trails with both level areas and some small hills through the property with both open and wooded areas. Large, airy, open, and well lit barn. Horses are able to see each other in the barn stalls and in turnout so they never feel isolated. Owners live on property and handle horses a minimum of 2 times per day. The same 2 people see your horse daily throughout the day and at night, no staff changes. Small number of boarders.

11 Large 12x24 matted stalls with shavings. Wash bay with hot & cold water. Heated tack room with a refrigerator, microwave, and bathroom. 69x170 indoor arena with rubber/sand footing and mirrors, dust free with use of MgCl. 72x204 outdoor arena with sand footing and 5 ft. fencing. Screen covered entries in barn and indoor arena to keep out pesky flies and birds.

All horses turned out for entire day with view of other horses. Individual paddocks available. No need to worry about pecking order adjustments between horses. Seasonal pasture turnout available. Heated buckets provided 24/7 in winter. No rough board available, all horses are put up in an individual barn stall during night. Hay fed 3-4 times per day. Will feed any grain or supplement provided by owner. Horses kept in barn stall during extreme weather events. Trailer parking is available.

Owners provide a high level of personal care for your horse with individual attention. Overnight camera watch for sick horses. Hickory Grove Farm is a small boarding facility offering box stall (14) and outdoor board (6). Stalled horses enjoy all day turn out in pairs or small groups. They also enjoy spacious paddocks, choice hay in the winter, and pastures in the summer months. The outdoor horses live in a small herd on a plentiful 10 acre pasture. These are available for you to join in on if you board with us, we require payment beforehand for the farrier visits unless you plan to be there when the trims are being done. Here is some information:
Outdoor board with shelter. We have 65 acres fenced with paddocks for rotational grazing and four sacrifice lots accommodating four herds, on 67 acres.

Round pen, outdoor arena, indoor arena, play area with a platform and barrels that is secluded, trails around the property, woods and shallow creek to explore.

Our focus is to be as natural as possible. We include hay, Redmond salt, kelp, mineral, and JUG auto waterer(heated).

Grain and supplements must be provided on an individual basis. Blanketing (rented or owned), exercising, cleaning hooves, and lessons are offered. If your horse needs a little work, but you would like to be involved in the process I offer training lessons to strengthen your partnership and work out the kinks.
