Current openings: 1 We are a private boarding barn on 23 acres located in Village of Vernon/Village of Big Bend WI. With 10 stalls in total we can be the cozy stable your horse calls home! At $300 a month your board includes: A stall for your horse in inclement weather.

Note: Whilst horses are under our care and apart of the herd they must: -be dewormed 2x yearly (on the same day as the entire heard)
-be vaccinated 2x yearly

We have regularly scheduled farrier visits every 6-8 weeks, spring shots and coggins with Johnson equine services and falls shots and dental with kettle moraine equine. These are available for you to join in on if you board with us, we require payment beforehand for the farrier visits unless you plan to be there when the trims are being done. We ask that anyone who boards with us provide us with current coggins and vaccinations paperwork. Treat others how you'd like to be treated, and treat the property with respect. Hickory Grove Farm is a small boarding facility offering box stall (14) and outdoor board (6). Stalled horses enjoy all day turn out in pairs or small groups. They also enjoy spacious paddocks, choice hay in the winter, and pastures in the summer months. The outdoor horses live in a small herd on a plentiful 10 acre pasture. The facility itself offers indoor and outdoor arenas, wash stall, and tack room. Our neighbor has trails and we are a short 10 min. drive from the Southern Kettle Moraine.
