Graywood is a riding barn, located near the tri-county corner of Culpeper, Madison, & Orange! 25 beautiful acres with access to miles of riding trails and an 8-stall barn. The riding ring is 200x120 with stone dust & sand footing and equipped with nice jumps. There is also a small round pen for ground work. Graywood is a family friendly farm that is happy to accommodate riders and horse lovers of all ages and experience levels (group and privet lessons). We are able to do theraputic riding classes as well (private lessons only). We believe in creating a safe and fun environment where everyone is encouraged to be the best they can be.
Owner & Instructor is Denise Lynch. Denise has over 30 years experience teaching, training, and showing. She moved to Madison County 17 years ago and has coached many winning riders over the years. Performance Sporthorses has (2) immediate openings for new full-training clients. Costs include full board and training fees ($1,600 / month) which include a large 12x12 stall, personalized feeding program, twice-a-day stall cleaning, daily turnout, on-site management, and professional rides by Wanja Gerlach. Use of the facility's indoor arena (w/ mirrors), and outdoor arena are included as is free horse trailer parking. Only vet and farrier services not included.

I work closely with owners and each horse gets individualized care and attention. I offer Southern States/Legends pelleted feed to all horses daily, along with quality 24/7 forage . Fly spray (owner provides) during the summer months, blanketing during the winter months and everything else in between is provided at no additional cost to owner. Our horses enjoy maximum turnout time in small herds (5 or less). No trailer, not a problem...we have miles of tree lined trails right out the back gate along with many more just a short haul away! We also have a small lighted ring (currently beibg redone), large grass ring, shared tackroom space, bathroom and heated/air conditioned lounge for client use. My family and I own and live on the premises and all horses are checked and inspected throughout the day by me.
