We are a 280 ac farm, adults only, no drama. Located between Orange and Gordonsville, 25 miles from Charlottesville. Low key barn where horses can be horses and their humans can enjoy them. Outdoor 85x150 sand arena w/jumps, 70x135 indoor arena with mirrors, lights w/ sand and Lightfoot footing. Miles of well-groomed wooded trails right on the property. Field board only. Horses are fed 1x per day, and owner-supplied supplements. Creature comforts for humans and tack, too.

Small, quiet barn, owner/caretaker lives on premises. Riding ring, 112 acres, full care, wash stall, turnout limited to only 2-3 horses per field. We treat them like they are our own.

Well-established Keelona Farm is located in southern Albemarle County, convenient to Charlottesville and 20 minutes from Interstate 64. The facility sits on 75 acres surrounded by Farmington Hunt territory and adjacent to a top level eventing barn. For the last 15 years we have been specializing in detailed senior care for retired hunter jumpers. These horses receive the best in care and attention. Under our watchful eye we manage for your horse, administration of treatments or meds as per veterinarian and/or farrier instructions. Comprehensive daily grooming, hand walking and/or turn out as needed. Development and implementation of individual treatment/fitness/nutrition plan
that can be adjusted according to needs. Frequent communication and updates to owners, vets and trainers. Pampered retirement for the equine athlete. Riding to fitness is also available. Owner lives on property with 24/7 monitoring.

The PJ Williams 14-stall custom structure is centrally located on the property and offers many options that a foaling mare or injured horse on its way to recovery will need. It is within the close service range to four or more veterinary hospitals.
The barn itself has an indoor track for walking and jogging with stalls in the center. There is an efficient 4-fan ventilation system in the roof that pulls air up and out in the hot weather. Radiating out from the barn are many options for private turn out that can be large or small, pasture or dry lot, most with run in sheds and fans. The stalls are 12 x 12 with several 12 x 24 foaling stalls and an observation room. Fencing is horse-safe woven Kentucky Diamond wire with top boards.

We don't have dress codes (except ideally helmets and heals). We don't break horses, breed, sell, host shows, offer touristy riding by the hour or accept stallions. We do have comfortable facilities, a friendly atmosphere, and a commitment to quality care of your loved one in a nurturing, informal environment. Our specialty is the care of your horse. Retirement and special needs horses are most welcome.

Although we are not competitive, does not mean that you can't be. We have all the facilities needed to fulfill your training needs with a large arena, round pen, jumps, barrels and even a storage area for your trailer.
