Fog Hill Stables is a small, private boarding stable providing excellent care for a limited number of horses. We offer a center aisle barn with wash rack and tack room with washer/dryer as well as a blue stone and sand arena with an excellent set of schooling jumps and a grass dressage arena.

A customized care plan is provided for all horses, and we are available to assist with vet and farrier appointments as needed. I currently have space for two geldings.

This is a private barn which offers affordable stall board. Horses are well cared for, with safety, health, and happiness being my main concern. All breeds or horses and ponies are welcome. Small herd of mixed horses have access to mineral blocks, natural shelters and run-in, and box stalls with sawdust bedding. Also on the premises are; 60x120 bluestone outdoor riding ring, bluestone outdoor 60' round pen, 12 acres of wooded trails, outdoor wash stall, tack room/feed room, and large center aisle with cross ties.

Board includes; grain 2x/day, hay as needed, wormer, grooming, clean stalls (every day), blanketing, fly masks, and holding for farrier/vet. Scarlett Grove Stables is situated on almost 16 acres of lush pasture. This full service boarding, training and sales barn is conveniently located on Route 7. We are 30 minutes to Upperville, 40 minutes to Morven Park Show grounds in Leesburg & Middleburg, Virginia. Also minutes from a cross country course.

Laid back atmosphere ~ Your horse will receive outstanding care.

The barn has 9-12x12 matted stalls, hot and cold wash stall, and a large tack/lounge room. The outdoor arena is 100x200 with a mix of sand and bluestone.

Holly Grubb is the head trainer of Scarlett Grove Stables. She has competed through Intermediate level with over 20 years of successful coaching, training and showing three day eventing to teach you the proper skills from the basics of riding up to advanced levels. Holly trained under Sandora Oppenheim. Holly brings out the best in her riders, ponies and horses in a fun yet challenging environment. She builds sportsmanship into her riders while they achieve success in the show ring.
