Urban Ridge Farm is conveniently located in Greenspring Valley. We are a private boarding facility. Riders at Urban Ridge Farm compete both locally and at rated shows throughout Maryland.

We are a boarding,training, and hunter/jumper barn offering lessons, leases and horses for sale or consignment. This facility is one the most beautiful places to keep your horses, giving them the chance to be turnout in lush green fields and stay in airy, matted, double mucked, fluffy bedded stalls. Horses are fed up to three times a day. Turnout is flexible allowing your horse to go out in a group or in a private field. We have a brand new riding arena with blue stone footing that is dragged daily with new jumps. There is also a 14-acre field with cross country course soon to be created. Windsong is a full service facility in Mt. Airy offering stall and field board, leasing, lessons, stud service, mare/foal care, basic training and sales. Owners live on site/ nightly barn checks.

We have a lighted indoor arena, outdoor arena, 2 round pens, some trails, sheds in every field, a grooming shed, locker room and 2 tack rooms (one for field boarders and one for stall boarders).

Family oriented, old, historic farm. Full care includes twice a day feeding. We offer boarding, lessons, training, and leasing. Although some of our boarders do show various disciplines from western pleasure through hunters,we are more of a trail/fun barn. We are not a show barn. Very laid back. Children welcome with adult supervision. Weekend trail rides together. Ride our trails to the water(that is part of our property) and take your horse swimming. We believe in leaving our horses out in the pasture with run ins unless the weather is bad. Each Horse is brought in twice daily to their stall for feeding and injury check. AOPF Stables is a fabulous 82 acres full service boarding and training facility. The farm has facilities for everything from starting colts to developing advanced high level horses: round pen, indoor and 2 outdoor arenas for flat work and jumping, a cross country course including a water complex and even 12 acres of woods for trail riding, and access to miles of trails in the beautiful Greenspring Valley hunt country.
We grow and bale our own hay, both for round bales in winter and everyday feed square bales.
Our large paddocks turn out, accommodate 4-5 horses and provide ample grass for them to graze on. We place pride in favoring herd turn out, for as many hours as weather and seasons permit.
