80 acres of country, ideal for horses, conveniently located for you inside the city of McKinney. We have a large Indoor Arena (100 x 150) with great footing, a outdoor arena (100 x 100), and acres of grassy areas to ride. We have a trail obstacle course on site as well as a dressage ring. We have full care options for both pasture and stall, with oversized stalls available up to 12 x 16. We are the only boarding facility in the area that has its own irrigated and fertilized hay fields. The hay fields on site supply consistent high quality square bales, plus we never have hay surcharges.
Hoofbeats always has several nice horses for sale and or lease at all times. Additionally, we have trainers on site to help you achieve both your riding and training goals. JR Stables is owned and operated by John and Rosie Bankston and have been at this locaton for 37 years. JR Stables is a full care only horse boarding facility convenientlly located 15 minutes from downtown Dallas half mile off I-20 and withhin 15 minutes of the future "Texas Horse Park" a 500 acre plus locaton with trails for horse back riding and
will be part of the 6,000 acre Great Trinity Forest with trails for riding. Our boarders can
also enjoy riding wooded trails here at JR Stables. Our barn has 12x12 stalls with individual partially covered runs. Each stall has a personal tack compartment with saddle rack and bridle holders. Stalls and runs are cleaned daily. There is a lounge and rest room in the barn. Our arena is a 120x240 ft. open sand arena, round pen, pipe fencing, was rack, salt blocks in each stall, several hitching posts to tie up, free trailor parking for our boarders. Horses are grained twice a day and are hayed three times a day when they are in the barn for the day. Round bales are available in pastures year round. Horses are turned out daily excluding weekends and with weather permitting. We do not and will not stall a horse 24-7 here at JR Stables. Mares and geldings are turned out in separate pastures. We have vets on call and they come out in the Spring and Fall to vaccinate and for yearly checkups. Farriers are available to shoe and trim on a regular schedule. We are Diamond J Ranch, a 20-acre established horse boarding facility offering full care and partial care pasture boarding. We are conveniently located in Northeast McKinney, less than 5 miles from Hwy 75. We are family owned and operated since 2010. The property is private and gated. Owners live onsite.

Pastures are always healthy and managed with low numbers, overseeding program, rotation plan, and periodic mowing/dragging. We refill the water tanks daily and clean regularly. Horses have 24/7 access to high quality round bales in the pastures year-round,

Our facility has an over-sized lighted outdoor arena, outdoor round pen, and lighted indoor arena. These were all recently renovated with new cushion sand. Low number of horses in pastures. High quality hay and annual overseeding program. Fresh, clean water. Shelters in pastures. Private covered runs for feeding. Indoor wash rack with hot and cold water.
