We provide rehabilitation services as well as a great boarding facility. Over 60 acres with trails, 1 covered arena, 2 out door arenas and a jogging track. We also have 2 round pens, a equine pool and a hot walker.

Forever Faithful Ranch is a beautiful 115 Acre Ranch located in the quaint town of Montgomery, Texas just 30 minutes North of the Woodlands. We have beautiful private 5 Acre pastures with fertilized jigs and common Bermuda grass with 2 - 12 x12 stalls with overhang. We are a home grown barn made from God. There are 5 Acres of Clean Trails throughout the property and the property adjoins the National Forest that has over 3000 acres of riding trails. The farm was established in 1982 by the owners, Mary and Jeff McCartney, and is set in 65 spacious acres of woodlands and pastures. The farm has three large riding arenas as well as a dressage arena, a cross-country jumping course, and on-site trails.

Adult instructors offer lessons in the disciplines of Hunt seat, Dressage and Combined training, and teach all ages of students from beginners through advanced.

Horse boarding is offered for both pasture-board and full-board with full use of all the facilities.

Horses on pasture-board are turned out 24 hours a day. Our grassy pastures are spacious with natural shade and/or loafing sheds and all are fenced with well-maintained four board wooden post & rail fencing. The boarding cost includes twice-daily feeding of grain supplemented with good quality hay when required. Regular worming every 8 weeks is is done by our staff.

Pasture-board horses do not have their own stall, but are groomed and tacked up in the grooming stalls (12 x 14) in the main barn. Your board includes use of three riding rings, a grass dressage arena, two round pens ( one grass andone sand), four acres of trails and alleys between some of the pastures that form a great place to cool you horse down after a ride, and use of the wash rack with hot and cold water. Large lockers are provided in the main barn for your tack and supplies. Prices for pasture boarding are $375 per month

Horses on full-board have their own stall with day or night turnout every day of the week. Horses are out on average 8 or more hours per turn out. The full-board barn has roomy stalls (14x14 feet) which are light and airy, equipped with two electric fans and bedded with shavings. Specially designed stall doors provide the maximum in air flow for hot summer days. Stalls are cleaned daily. The boarding cost includes twice-daily feeding of grain and good quality hay, and worming every 8 weeks.Clients with horses on full-board have their own air-conditioned lounge next to their barn with spacious storage lockers (floor to ceiling) for their tack and other riding equipment. BOARDING:

Barn has safe, open concept for optimum ventilation, socialization, and comfort for the horse. Large indoor hallway leads to a 90 x 175 lighted, covered arena. Other amenities include a 350 x 100 outdoor arena; a lighted, covered 45 foot in diameter round pen; a large 100 foot in diameter round pen; lighted, concrete wash rack with hot and cold water; and acres of trail riding.....

Stalls have individual lights, fans, and automatic fly spray systems. The owners have lived on the property for almost 20 years; the barn manager has lived on the property for over 7 years. Both the owners and the barn manager monitor the horses throughout the day and evening to see if they are eating and drinking normally. Horses are turned out daily (weather permitting) into half acre, shaded, individual pens. High quality hay and grain is fed twice a day on a set schedule. Stalls are cleaned six days a week. Trailer parking is available in an all weather, lighted parking lot...

The tack room contains a dehumidifier, air conditioner, refrigerator, microwave and wifi so observers can be comfortable as they watch friends who might be riding outside in inclement weather. An indoor rest room with a shower provides a place where those who come directly from work to ride can change their clothes. EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE INTERNSHIPS & COLLEGE CREDIT:

Interns have come from many different states including California, Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Massachusetts, and New York. Not all interns are college students, but interns from schools such as Purdue, the University of Maryland, and Northeastern Junior College in Colorado have received college credit from their respective schools.
Brigadoon Farm offers Horsemanship at Alvin Community College. PHED 1145 is a college credit course providing basic information on riding, handling, training, and caring for horses. TRAINING/LESSONS:

Brigadoon Farm focuses on positive reinforcement in training horses. Though the farm raises and trains reining horses, this strategy is effective with all equine disciplines. Basic beginner to advanced riding lessons are offered with refresher courses for those that rode as youngsters and want to get back in the saddle again as adults. Reining lessons are available for those who would like to try a reiner for a “spin”......

Free weekly practice riding and training sessions for boarders are held every Sunday morning. These are videotaped and critiqued are followed by a trip to Joe’s restaurant for brunch. (everyone buys their own omlets!)......
