We are a locally owned horse boarding facility. We sit on over 90 acres and offer 4 levels of care for your horse(s). We have a large indoor and outdoor arena, we are normally always full but we do have a couple stalls available. We have been under going a major face lift and we are very excited about the level of facility we have to offer! We really think we are one of the best in the area.

Strait Gait Stables is centrally located in the beautiful Willamette Valley, between Corvallis, Lebanon, Salem and Eugene. It is a convenient relaxing oasis just 3 miles from the growing suburban landscape of Albany, yet it is far enough away to enjoy the quiet countryside on horseback.

The Albany Expo Fairgrounds, Oregon State University and Interstate I-5 are only 7 miles from the facility.

The owners, Robert and Mary have over 60+ years of combined experience. They have developed a reputation as dedicated professionals, offering a modest facility for boarding, teaching riding and horse care to all ages and abilities. There is a place for everyone at SGS, from the experience competitive rider to the beginning or pleasure rider. All breeds and disciplines are welcomed.
