We are a private boarding facility on 53+ tranquil acres in Junction City. Our barn has just 14 stalls, so we have a small, inviting atmosphere without the drama of a large facility. We have an indoor arena, hot water wash area, year round turnout (weather permitting), BRAND NEW large stalls (we just finished up 8 new Barn Pros stall fronts and added 36' sanded runs to 4 of the stalls), trails right on the property, a cross country jump course, an outdoor seasonal jump ring and so much more! We focus on making your stay at Fernbrook Stables safe and FUN for both you and your equines.
We offer both partial and full care options and can come up with a care package to suit just about anyone.
We currently have plans to finish up a large, all weather outdoor arena and plan on hosting shows and clinics later in the year.

B&G Stables is a well founded self care barn in Newberg, OR. We have twenty-one roomy stalls as well as eight large and two small turn outs. Two wash racks & two tackrooms are also available. There is an indoor arena that is kept well groomed for training and workouts. Barn hours are 5am to 10pm Mon-Sat and Sun by appointment. Boarders have access to the property 5am to 10pm seven days a week as well as late hours for picking up and returning from events. Tack rooms are kept locked and only management and boarders have keys. Wash racks have hot and cold running water. This is a private farm. I raised AQHA, APHA & TB horses. I have reduced my herd to just a couple of horses and decided to board out a couple of the empty stalls. The stalls are 12X12 with rubber matting. There is one foaling stall that is 12X24. One of the stalls has a turn out area, but most of the time I lead the horses to one of two fields during the day. Both fields have sheds to protect the horses from sun & rain. At night they are in their stalls. The fencing is wood in the turn out area and plastic white fence in the fields. I prefer boarding to mares, but would consider a gelding. I have foaled out many mares in the past and stand a palomino stud. I do not have an indoor or outdoor arena only the fields and they are not flat. I feed eastern or alfalfa, orchard grass, & grain. During the fly season I spray the horses for flies and put on fly masks. I will not board to a cribber or stall kicker. call and we can discuss boarding price.... See More

This is at a small private barn with only 3 stalls in total. One stall with my horse and another boarder is in the 2nd stall leaving the 3rd stall free.

The facts:
- 12 x14 stall with new mats & nest camera
- Daily group turnout on grass (gelding pasture) FYI: vinyl fencing no electricity
- All year turn out (rain or shine) min 8 hours per day
- Feeding owners grain + supplements twice a day
- Feeding Timothy hay twice a day ( +lunch when there is no more grass)
- We fly mask and fly spray as needed
- We blanket
- Owner on site
- 60x150 arena ( currently not functional but will receive new footing within the next 2 months and will then be fully available for use)
- Bring your own trainer

Full board - $800 per month
(Opportunity for reduced board in exchange for helping with chores)

It's a relatively small property with 5 acres and although we don’t have any dedicated trails, there is the opportunity to use the bottom field for riding, or riding the perimeter.

This is my home and not a commercial boarding facility, which means your horse gets the same love, attention, and individual care as mine but also means there's no bathroom, so you've gotta be a bit sporty.
