Tall Pines Equine Rescue has been in operation since 2007 and has helped rescue, rehab and re-home numerous horses and dogs. We work closely with a equine nutritionist, our vet's only clients are horses and we take what we do seriously. The year 2011 will be a mile stone for us. We have already applied and have faith that our own 501(c)(3) non profit status will come through making all donations tax deductible. Our operation is on a small scale and will remain small to guarantee each animal will always have the best food, vet care, training and one on one that we can offer. Students have the opportunity to compete in Dressage, eventing and hunter/jumpers or just relax on nearby trails. We approach the welfare of horses and riders in a holistic fashion, treating each as an individual. With an emphasis on correct biomechanics for both the human and equine, we strive to educate riders on how control and awareness of their body allows for high quality movement and clearer communication between rider and horse, as well as an increase in the quality of their daily life. We are a private horse barn that focuses on individualized care programs for each and every horse. We specialize in post-surgical care, layups and rehabilitation of performance horses.

We have large box stalls with thick rubber matting and deep bedding to support and cushion. Horses are fed high quality hay 4 times daily. Stalls are picked and cleaned 1-2 times daily, 7 days per week.

Layup services available are daily hand walking, individual turn out, blanketing, stretching, massage, bandage changes and daily grooming. Medications and supplements can be administered in conjunction with the recommendations from your veterinarian.
