Self-Care Board.
We own a small personal farm on 8 acres. We have a three stall barn and pasture field that has not been used since the previous owner.
Available to lease is full access to the barn with three 12ft by 10ft stalls, a tack room, fresh water supply, electric fencing hookup, pasture field and run-in. Our farm is located across from a 300 acre working farm, with nearby riding trails.
We work full time and therefore, not able to provide full board. We are looking for the right person (people) to make use of the available space.

Wild Child Farm is a family friendly boarding stable and riding school in central Maine. Our horses are stalled at night, turned out all day every day either individually or in pairs/very small groups in dry paddocks or grass pastures. We have a large, bright indoor arena without dust, a large outdoor arena with well drained footing, groomed hacking trails on the property and access to miles of riding trails (no motorized vehicles), a short ride away. Lank Farm, est.1758, is a 300 acre farm located in Kennebunk, and just 1.5 miles from Kennebunk Beach, I-95, and .5 miles from Route 1. Home to two large barns, 22 stalls, a small indoor riding arena, 100'x200' outdoor arena and two round pens. Miles of trails, easy access to the Eastern Mountain Trail System and Mousam Saddle Club. We offer large stalls, and excellent turn-out. Pasture sizes vary from 2 to 20 acres and are comprised of group and individual turn-outs. Hay is from our own fields and/or Canadian hay. We have a lovely revamped 200+ year old barn. 21 Large airy box stalls. 72 x 160 Indoor arena, 100 x 100 outdoor arena as well as a 100 x 200 outdoor jumping arena! We have 135 acres of fields and woods, lots of trails. Full and rough board available. Horses are turned out primarily in large natural pastures and enjoy the ability to run and play in herd. Smaller turnout is available as needed.

We specialize in the hunter/jumper realm with a large lesson program. We host 5-6 shows per year at the farm and we also attend many shows in Maine, NH and Mass. We bring our riders to Downeast Medal Finals, Maine Hunter Jumper FInals, Mass Finals and NH Finals. Those who qualify have also attended New England Finals!

We are fortunate to have a beautiful indoor arena that was built in 2006. At 72 X 160 feet it is big and bright and perfect for riding all year long. This building is a great environment for everyday riding as well as heavy duty training. We have a sand and stonedust footing that has recently been upgraded with Green Gold, a rubber and fiber footing addition that is conducive to all disciplines. The outdoor 100' x 100' arena is next to the large indoor and is perfect for flat work. And our 100' x 200' outdoor arena is set up for hunter jumper training.

Pasture board @ $350/month includes rotation through 15 acres of large fields for summer grazing, access to large run in shelters, salt and mineral blocks, hay fed out of spacious, custom hay huts.

Smaller paddock @$425/month offering 24/7 hay, grain and/or supplements fed 1x daily (you provide), blanketing and fly mask application at no extra cost, access to salt and mineral blocks.
