Our ranch is located conveniently off I-70 at Exit 330 (McFarland). We are a short 30 minutes from Topeka, Manhattan, & Junction City, and 15 minutes from Wamego.

Our services include Boarding ( anywhere from overnight to long-term), Farrier services (trims & horse shoeing), and Training ( from colts to older horses just needing tuned up).

The facilities include a large round pen, indoor arena, indoor barn stalls, outdoor stalls with turn outs, and large outdoor pens for boarding. Large outdoor roping arena is in the works..... See More

Prairiewind Boarding Stables is a 10 stall self care horse boarding facility located just across the road from Milford State Park. Each horse is assigned a 12 x 12 stall with attached 12 x 40 run. Weather permitting horses are turned out to pasture or round bales daily. Round bales are stable provided depending on time of year. Stable also provides one flake of hay daily for stall feeding and all horses are required to return to stall each night. Additional hay is available for purchase.
