Millhaven Horse Farm is a beautiful full-board facility in Derwood, near Rockville, Olney and Gaithersburg. Southern Grace Farm is a 56 acre MHBA Licensed Horse Boarding Facility. (TRAIL RIDES and RIDING LESSONS)

Boarding:

Our FIELD CARE option is $275 per horse per month. Our field care horses are brought in and fed daily. We use Fiber Plus.

We also offer PRIVATE SELF CARE paddocks $400.00/month. Each self care paddock has a run in shed with two or three stalls, a tack shed, water and electric. Each paddock can accommodate up to three horses. Board is per paddock not per horse.

Our FULL CARE board is offered for $475/month. NO HIDDEN FEES. Our stalls are a FULL 12 x 12 with rubber mats and sawdust bedding. All stalls are mucked out daily and stripped out weekly, sprayed and re-bedded. All stalls have water at the stall and individually operated stall fan. There are three high volume fans in the 12'x96' isle way. Horses are fed hay and Fiber Plus two times per day. Hay is in the pasture for free choice. Horses have day time turn out in the winter and are in at night. Summer schedule, Horses in during the day under fans and out at night. Our full care barn offers a hot wash stall and three sets of cross ties. We have a lounge for your convenience with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, vending machine and an ice machine so you can fill your cooler before leaving for a show or rodeo. We have a restroom complete with shower.

Our RIDING ARENA has lights and is 120' wide x 200' long, and is a sand/clay mixture. We groom the arena every week. We offer cavaletti's, jumps, poles, barrels and trails, both on and off site. We have free trailer parking. No extra fee for administering supplements (Owner provided). No fee for administering medication for up to 7 days.

RIDING LESSONS, we offer English and Western Riding Lessons to children 3 years of age and up. Children under six years of age, lessons are 30 minutes at $40.00. Children 6 to adult, lessons are $60.00 per hour. We provide everything you need, with the exception of a helmet.

RODEO EVENTS, our instructors teach Poles and Barrels. Keep in touch as we expand to roping, goat tying, and break a-way roping!

GUIDED TRAIL RIDES are a favorite! We offer three different rides:
ONE-HOUR ride $60.00/person. This is a ride around our beautiful farm. Mostly flat land, a creek crossing and a small hill.
TWO-HOUR ride $120.00/person. This is a two-hour ride around our beautiful farm and a neighboring farm. Mostly flat land, a small creek crossing and beautiful ride through the woods.
THREE-HOUR ride $150.00. Our three hour ride to Apehanager's Bar and Grill travels mostly on flat land, a small creek crossing, a small hill, crossing a train track. Enjoy breakfast, brunch or lunch. Food purchased separately).
All of our trail rides are suited for non experienced riders.

Where every horse is a treasure!

We are a small farm located in Hagerstown Md near Stateline and close to I81 and I70. Quality care at affordable prices. We offer long term boarding and layover boarding as well as electric hookup.

We have 6 matted stalls and each one is attached to a private paddock. Horses are in 1/2 the day in their private area and turned out into pasture or a large paddock the other half pending weather. Our large paddock is now covered so all horses will have shelter when needed. We have several nice fields we rotate them in. We have an outdoor arena, a large round pen and heated tack & feed rooms.

I have 2 horses and love being around them. I've been around horses most of my life.

Welcome to Merkel Farms, a family owned and operated equestrian center run by Stephanie Serenati-Merkel. Merkel Farm is nestled between Bowie State University and the Patuxent Wildlife Preserve in Bowie, MD and is within easy reach from the Washington D.C., Annapolis and Baltimore metro areas. We have miles of trails surrounding the property. We also have a lighted indoor and outdoor ring which allows for boarders and lesson students to ride year round. We have two barns and two separately fenced fields for turnout. The outdoor and indoor rings are dragged throughout the year to maintain optimal footing for horses. Skyline Training Stables is a small lesson, training and boarding facility located about 1 mile from Rt. 30 North, in quiet Hampstead, Maryland. We have our own lesson horses, or you can trailer your horse in. Negative Coggins required. Amenities: We have both an indoor ring that is approximately 65 x 160, and an outdoor sand ring that is approximately 110 x 225. A finished, heated tack room is available, wash stall with h/c water, and 10 x 10 matted stalls. 4 spacious grass fields with small herd turn out. The stalls are picked and cleaned daily and high quality hay and feed is fed, with each horse's diet custom designed with care. Water buckets are dumped and cleaned daily. Forest View Farms, LLC (FVF) is a peaceful, mid-sized farm located in Harford County, convenient to Baltimore County and City. We currently have two (2) spots open for full care stall board. Our facilities have much to offer, including a fully enclosed 100 x 200 lighted indoor riding arena with dust free sand/rubber footing, a 150 x 80 outdoor riding ring, large matted box stalls, a heated tack room, a wash stall with both hot and cold water, all board fencing, and miles of surrounding trails. We provide attentive and individualized care for your horses doing our best to provide them with the best possible home. We have a full time barn manager, and an ARIA licensed manager who lives only minutes from the premises.

FVF provides full care stall board for only $450 a month and we include all of the following: twice daily feedings of quality hay and grain (including any supplements you provide), daily turn out, blanket changes, fly mask changes/ spraying, regular de-worming, holding for the vet/farrier/dentist, minor wound care, and salt blocks in every stall. Owner provided suppliments, heated buckets and fans are no additional monthly fee. We treat all of our fields with fly predators (seasonally), and have our waste bin emptied regularly. We offer individualized turn out, small paddocks, and larger pastures to meet each horses needs. Our large, clean 12x12 stalls are constructed of board slats (no concrete or cinder blocks), each have rubber mats as flooring, and are bedded with sawdust. Each stall has an operational light and electric outlet, and our heated tack room has a small fridge and a utility sink. Our expansive indoor arena is attached directly to the barn so there is no need to have to go outside in poor weather. We have cavaletti, jumps, ground poles, barrels, and lunging equipment on-site and avaialable for your use.

FVF also employs highly knowledgeable local trainers specializing in starting young horses and training trail, gaming, lower level hunter/jumper, and some western disciplines. We offer training at monthly rates starting at just $700 a month. This price includes full care stall board, and would provide your horse with regular exercise through a training schedule specialized to their specific needs. In addition we offer riding instructor for ages 6 - adult from beginners through advanced riders. We provide quiet, reliable, talented lesson mounts for our students, or can also accomodate trailer in lessons.
