Forty years experience, with devotion, enthusiasm, and willingness to go above and beyond for my students and horses to lead to their success. My life has evolved around making happy horses and happy people. In doing so, I intend to enhance the horse industry with outstanding horses and knowledgeable equestrians receptive to the horse’s needs. I have brought many horses and riders combinations to many championships ("A" circuit to local shows)in the hunters, jumpers and equitation divisions. Personally, I have ridden in all the said divisions with much success, judged hunter/jumper shows, foxhunted for 45 years(currently member AVH), whipped-in for 20 years, brought and sold many horses, owned/managed successful horse business for 25 years. I enjoy teaching riding at all levels.I am a life member of the United States Equestrian Federation, U.S.Hunter/Jumper Association. National Professional Horseman's Association. Our lesson program at Fair Winds Farm is designed for the first time rider through the advanced level. Instructors are experienced in Dressage, Eventing and Hunter/Jumper. Our goal is a friendly, stress-free environment that creates safe and happy horses and riders. I specialize in hunter/jumper, but am also experienced in dressage, driving, western, starting young horses under saddle (using gentle round penning methods), and retraining horses with issues such as nervousness and fear. Fox Pointe Farm and Fox Pointe Farm East have two beautiful facilities in New Kent County just 20 miles east of Richmond and 11 miles from Mechanicsville. Short drive from Rt. 64, Rt. 249, 30 and Rt. 360.

Boarding at Fox Pointe Farm : facility includes 27 acres, full care stall board, two barns, fans, tack/lounge, full bathroom, wash stalls hot/cold water.
Full care boarding includes feed, daily stall cleaning and small group or private turnout. Based upon weather and footing conditions.
Lessons are included in all boarding options. Fox Pointe Farm is open 7 days a week for boarders to enjoy their horses.

Fox Pointe Farm East : facility includes 140 acres, stall and pasture board, fans, oak stalls, tackroom, wash stall,/tack stall.Boarding includes feed, daily stall cleaning, large grass pasture, outdoor riding arena. Fox Pointe Farm is open 7 days a week for boarders to enjoy their horses.

Riding School is a USHJA Recognized Riding Lessons year round Tuesday -Sundays. Closed on Mondays. Quality horses and ponies are available to riders in the school program. Weekly group or private lessons. Lease horses are available. From beginning to riding at the high levels of competition, Fox Pointe Farm ensures that all riders gain an understanding of good horsemanship, superior care and grooming.
