Ramon’s formation of a specially tailored program for your horse is based on years of experience with many different horses and successfully bringing those horses to their full potential by focusing on the horse’s purpose and suitability.



This begins by developing a short term and long term program with sustainable goals for each individual horse.



Upon entering our training program your horse is evaluated to pinpoint potential training issues. A plan of action will be established using proven natural horsemanship techniques, positive reinforcement and completion of specific milestones to achieve your desired result.



Thorough ground work, flat work and gymnastics are coupled with a balanced diet allowing your horse to be brought along quietly and slowly to ensure your horses confidence. Your horses care is paramount to their success and our program is customized to your horses needs to be happy, sound, confident and content.



Training packages will be tailored to your horse’s specific needs. “Problem” horses accepted. All breeds, ages and experience levels of horses welcome. Young horses, show prospects, competition horses and horses coming back from time off and injuries accepted and brought up to competition level carefully to ensure fitness and ability to perform in the show ring. Competition horses are exercised 6 days a week with one day of rest to optimize great physical condition.

JP Roukis is the head trainer at Treasure Coast Stables. His accomplishments include coaching riders to Grand Prix placings, Hunter Derby wins, Maclay Finals, USEF horse of the year titles, and WEF championships and circuit championships. JP also is a USEF licensed judge for Hunters and Hunt Seat Equitation and has officiated shows around the country.

JP’s passion for teaching, his extensive knowledge of showjumping, and his honest business practices have propelled him and his students to the top of the sport. His teaching style can be summarized as patient, methodical, and goal oriented.
