As the only Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH Int'l) center serving our community, Therapeion Therapeutic Riding Center is the expert in offering riding classes for persons of all ages in Tippecanoe, White, and the surrounding counties.

Our staff is specially trained to provide professional services. Our therapy horses have received hours of training before joining our staff.

Come spend a week in the summer learning how to ride or even improving your level of riding. Ages 8-18 both boys and girls can enjoy riding and taking care of there horses for a week as well as learning more about God. We have certified riding instructors for every level of riding. The week is full of horses but also swimming , games , crafts and zip line . We offer Summer Camp programs and FlexCamp. Our Award Winning Summer Camp Program allows aspiring Equestrians ages 5yr to 17yr to ride at their own proficiency level, on their own assigned horse, 2-3 times/day in lessons, trail rides, Equisthenics, vaulting or Lungeing sessions and to benefit from daily Horsemanship Badges and (free) optional visits to adjacent Ginty Pool. FlexCamp works year-round on a day-to-day basis as Campers can be dropped any time after 8am then picked up any time before 7pm and, for a low fee equivalent to about a one hour private lesson, will ride their horses 2 to 3 separate times daily and benefit from hands-on, supervised Barn Management sessions. Professional, dedicated Instructors and a supportive atmosphere make these Camps a top value for the motivated, aspiring Equestrian of any age and any experience.

Camps will consist of instruction both on and off the horse taught using CHA guidelines for riding education. Our counselors are experienced instructors and know how to start their students with a strong foundation in basic horsemanship and safety while working with each student to reach their riding goals. Activities will include learning about all aspects of owning a horse as well as horse themed crafts and games. Each camp (with the exception of the Trail Riding Camp and Show Camp) will have a show on the last day of camp for the parents. Some camps have optional Saturday events that are an additional charge. Payment must be made in advance to secure your child's spot for the camp. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards (add 3.5% for cards). Campers can attend as many of the camps as their skill levels will allow. An activity release is required for all campers, but only one is needed no matter how many camps they attend. The campers will begin their day with feeding, brushing, saddling and riding group lessons : English huntseat style training with individual attention. They will then have the an opportunity to bathe and care for their camp horse (our horse or yours!). After a lunch in the shade and some fun activities, campers will learn a variety of horse management skills including first aid, health care, hoof care, feeding, illness management and prevention. Then the horses will be prepared for another riding lesson. In the Horsemanship I, II and Advanced camps, the day will be finished up with demonstrations, educational games, equine themed coture crafts and riding skills practice. Field trips to beach and local feed dealers or vet offices a possibility SUMMER CAMP is a 5 day camp or 3 days from JUNE 13th - JULY 29th 9AM-3pm for $220 part time/wk or $295 full Time/wk also we welcome students with their own horses if riders want to bring their own horse it is an additional $15 for a day stall or $25 overnight. All campers will ride primarily English and possibly Western and will learn different skills of both styles proper Equitation and some even learn how to jump (low level of course for beginners ) , basic dressage, for advanced kids -how to plan and set up courses for a purpose and how to judge shows and even train ponies and horses using natural horsemanship skills and show ring fundamentals to be a sucessful rider. we have a year round HUNTER JUMPER RIDING CLUB , SHOW TEAM as well as lesson programs, pony parties and trailrides for kids and adults. Summer camps - Week long $325/week

Everyday will encompass art, games with horses, a horse study education curriculum, life skill learning session with the horses, chores, lunch with activity, riding, trail time, ground work, grooming, etc. Lots of fun and horse time.

The camps will be from 9:00 - 3:00 each day.
After and before care is available for a fee.
$300 for week long camps.
