Pony Paradise Rides summer day camp series offers campers an opportunity to enjoy life on the farm from many perspectives with our camp coordinator with 40 + years in the horse and art world. We will be teaching teamwork, leadership and farming skills, as well as, arts and crafts and of course horse skills. Horseback riding, horse and pony driving, horsemanship care and skills will be taught in our daily horse time. Camp will also include stabling skills, grooming skills and riding instruction. Our herd of 10+ horses and ponies include mounts suitable for all skill levels. Camps are limited to a maximum of 10 campers per session ( with a mininum of 6 campers) to ensure plenty of one on one time with horses and ponies. Prices range from $225- $450 per week, as we have half and full day camps available as well as before and after camp hours to assist with parent schedules. There are so many amazing animals, plants, fungi, and other living beings on the farm that help to make this place what it is! From learning about animal communication to exploring life on Ames Creek and the Sultan River that both run through our farm, we will delve deeper into the beauty and magic of life on the farm. Farm journeys from waterways to migration routes, there are many animals, elements, and other beings that migrate, move through, and contribute to the farm environment. We might do some tracking, visit the river, think about different life cycles and journeys, create maps, and try our hand at different forms of navigation. We take a stand to inspire mindful behavior, sustainable stewardship, and animal husbandry.​From the youngest to oldest camper everyone is an active participant in daily barn activities!

NWNHC Kids Camps are not just about riding. They are comprehensive programs that teach the responsibilities of horse ownership, how to be safe around horses and how to build a partnership with the horse through leadership; not fear and intimidation.

Your child will learn how horses communicate with each other and how they can use that “language” to “speak to” and understand the horse. It all starts with playing seven games and progresses to riding with a centered seat and proper balance.
