Is your child absolutely crazy about horses and ponies? Then Pony Gang Horse Crazy Camp is the perfect place for them! Unlike traditional horse summer camps that may not offer enough hands-on horse time, our camp is designed specifically for kids who can’t get enough of life in the saddle.

At Pony Gang Horse Crazy Camp, campers spend the majority of their day immersed in horse-related activities. In the afternoons, they enjoy a variety of fun, team-building exercises to create unforgettable memories. With both Overnight and Day Camp options available, there's something for every young equestrian!

What Makes Pony Gang Horse Crazy Camp Special?
Our campers experience a unique and exciting schedule that keeps each day fresh, fun, and educational. Here’s a glimpse at a typical day with us:

? Horseback Riding (30–60 minutes daily)

For experienced riders: Enjoy trail rides and bareback riding for an exciting and confidence-building experience.
For beginner riders: Gain confidence in the arena before heading out on supervised trail rides to develop skills in a safe and supportive environment.
? Vaulting Group Lesson (30 minutes daily) – on the barrel horse

Campers will practice vaulting moves on our specially designed barrel horse, improving balance, strength, and confidence in a fun and safe group setting.
? Trick Riding Group Lesson (30 minutes daily) – on the barrel horse

Using our trick riding barrel horse, campers will learn exciting moves and techniques that build coordination and agility while working together as a team.
? Horse Care & Barn Management (1–2 hours daily)

Each camper is assigned their own horse or pony to care for (this is separate from their riding horse). They will take on real responsibilities, including feeding, grooming, stall cleaning, and ensuring their horse’s well-being.

Our day camps are the perfect introduction to riding for horse lovers of all ages or a way of expanding skills for those who already know the basics. Come experience the Bramblewood difference.

Horseback camp is divided into two periods that equate to a 9:00am-4:00pm schedule. Mornings are spent at the stables, where campers have the opportunity to learn horsemanship skills and have a riding lesson. Later in the afternoon, campers return to the campus where they can enjoy the other many diverse activities of our Junior Discovery and Teen Exploration programs.

No experience with horses is needed. Riders will be learning how to walk, trot, steer, and jump small jumps while riding in groups. This will be with or without assistance depending on the level of the rider. Students should not expect to do any canter work. Activities are introductory to horses and focus on having fun with the basics.

Campers in our horseback program receive a riding lesson each day until Friday when they have an opportunity to display those skills for parents in our “riding show.” At the show, campers receive ribbons for their performances as well as a certificate indicating their level. The show is also designed as an opportunity for parents to meet with their children’s instructors.
