Horse-lovers paradise! Since 1954, the purpose of Valley View Ranch has been to help each rancher have the full opportunity of horsemanship through instruction, time in the saddle on trails, and the care and responsibility of having her own camp horse, all a'top beautiful Lookout Mountain. We offer several riding programs and encourage each camper to participate in all of them: English and Hunt Seat; Western Stock Seat and Barrels (Gymkhana); Trails and Vaulting. CHA instructors teach beginner to advanced riders. Each girl can spend as much time as she likes with her favorite ranch horse during her stay, or she can bring her own. Ranchers will find the facility comfortable, safe, and spacious. Located on 600 acres of lush pastures, wooded trails, and panoramic views. Enrollment is limited to 50 girls and is open to ages 8-17. Fairhaven Farm is conveniently located to Rome, Summerville, Cedar Bluff, Cave Spring and Silver Creek. Owner/Operator Kimberly Wallace is the Assistant Equestrian Team Coach both English and Western at Berry College; she is American Riding Instructor Certified; is a USDF Gold, Silver and Bronze Medalist as well as earning her Silver and Bronze Freestyle Bars; is participating in the USDF "L Judges: Certification program; and a Preliminary Eventer (less than 6% of eventers compete at this level and above). Kimberly has both a lifetime of experience in both Europe and the United States as well as a teacher's heart so you will learn correctly from your first lesson and NOT have to re-learn/correct something later after it's become a bad habit!! Her goal is to help every rider achieve his/her goals safely whether they be basic riding or international competition. Her lessons are broken into small pieces and presented in a logical order to help each student and training horse understand one another clearly. Heaven's Gait, is an exciting Equestrian Day Camp for special needs individuals. Riders are led by trained instructors and enjoy a one-to-one ratio. ​​Are you looking for a great summer camp? Blue Springs Farm is the answer!

Our summer camp will help your child grow, learn responsibility, and most importantly teach them to understand the beauty of owning and taking care of a horse. The camp is for boys and girls with any level of experience, ages 5-16. They will acquire the skills of general safety, horsemanship and the main responsibilities of caring for a horse. Campers ride twice a day, usually once in the arena and once on a trail ride.

Camps are one week long running Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and are available every week from June 6th to July 25th. Early drop off and late pick up are available; please call for details. The fee is $325/week, and a $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a session for your child.
