I shoe and trim horses which do many kinds of work and perform in many disciplines. My goal is to support and enhance the natural function of the horse and the horse's hoof to enhance his agility and his ability to play and work. I do barefoot trimming and I take many horses out of shoes when that is best, as well as work with owners who use equine boots. My horseshoeing is aimed at protecting and supporting the horse with the natural function of the hoof and leg in mind. I have completed an 8 week Farrier coarse, a 2 year apprenticeship, and I am a AFA Certified Farrier. I do all hot shoeing, and also offer therapeutic shoeing if needed.
