My primary concern in raising young hanoverian and hanoverian cross horses is the welfare of these wonderful animals from the moment they are concieved until they pass on into someone else's care, not only on a physical level but on a psychological level. I have combined the newest research on social herd behavior("natural horsemanship" principles) and holistic nutrition with my own experience gathered from hands-on experience gained over 25 years in the field as a trainer, instructor and breeder. It is my hope that I can give these generous and beautiful animals the best start possible so they can go on to fulfilling partnerships with individuals who are looking not only for a partner in sport but a partner in life.
.I have combined this program with the finest bloodlines of the sporthorse world to produce horses that are sound and mentally willing. It is my belief that these horses are exceptional. Our farm is located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia where our 52 acres of pasture and varied terrain allow young horses to grow up with plenty of room to run, develop agility and balance and to grow strong bones, ligaments and muscles that will withstand the rigors of the sport or riding, whether it is Dressage, Eventing, Jumping or simply being a backyard horse owner's friend and companion
