Blake Whiston is a Natural Horsemanship Trainer/Educator. We offer professional horse training and riding lessons to all of Mobile County, Baldwin County and Eastern Mississippi. We offer ease of access by working with your horse right on your own property, no need to trailer your horse to some distant place and worry about what is being done with him! You will see everything first hand and be taught everything your horse learns!

Blake Whiston Horsemanship is the most gentle method in south Alabama working around a natural horsemanship ideology. Rather than beating or whipping a horse into submission, Blake utilizes the Great Basin style of Vaquero Horsemanship. This approach believes in teaching the horse through timing and balance to create a horse that is both light, nimble, and willing. Absolutely no pain or harsh bits, and no using the old ways of "breaking" your horse. Blake uses only a common sense approach that is solid, safe, and effective for the horse. The goal of our method is to get a soft, supple, "hooked on" horse that is responsive and respectful while still maintaining a healthy bond between horse and human. Specializing in colt starting, refreshing lessons, buggy pulling, establishing a foundation, and above all creating a safe and fun partnership for both horse and human alike.
