Caitlyn LaLonde / Riding Instructor in Blossvale, New York
Growing up in the Equine Industry and on a boarding facility (Shady Maples Stable.) Caitlyn knew she had found her passion and love for horses and teaching. She has been riding and competing in local, A Circuit, and Intercollegiate Horse Shows for the past 19 years.
In Caitlyn's program, she teaches her students to care for the horses as well as ride them. It is her number one goal for her students, is to be safe, have fun, and acquire an abundance of knowledge all at the same time.
The majority of the lessons Caitlyn teaches are 1 hour private lessons for beginners-intermediate riders; in which they learn how to groom and tack up the horses, ride for between 30-45 minutes, untack and groom the horses. Don't be afraid to bring treats, as there is always time to give your equine companion a little extra something special! For which the charge is $30.
When the students would like to further their knowledge and experience, Tracy Percival Forman, is the intermediate-advanced instructor at Shady Maples Stable.
Caitlyn, along with Shady Maples Stables, provides school horses, tack and helmets. Please don't be afraid to contact Caitlyn. She always has room in her schedule for eager equestrians! She is also excepting training horses as well!
