Tom Yetter has been teaching and training for more than 25 years.
Tom graduated from Meredith Manor School of Horsemanship with a Riding Masters III in teaching and training. From 1990 to 2004, he owned and operated T.N.T. Farms in New Tripoli, Pennsylvania ,where he ran a 18 stall boarding, training, and lesson facility.
His students ranged in all ages and levels, successfully showing at the hunter shows from Short Stirrup to the 3ft. divisions, attending local to rated shows, and dressage shows from schooling shows to USDF recognized shows. During this time, Tom also took on the role as student to further his education in the art of Dressage. Riding with Grand Prix dressage trainer and judge Jeannie McDonald. In 2009, Tom and Sebastian VB, a Friesian Gelding, not only qualified for, but won the ESDCTA Championship at First level, with a score of 72%. Tom has successfully shown through second level and trained through third.
When it comes to teaching and training, Toms number one concern is SAFETY for both horse and rider. He understands that each horse and rider is an individual, and will progress at their own capacity. Tom has been told that he has a way of making progress with horses and riders, by knowing when to ask for more. That he understands how to push to the limit but never over the limit. Therefore keeping both horse and rider relaxed, which to Tom is the only way for horse and rider to progress during their training sessions. Tom enjoys working with riders of all ages and levels, and horses of many different breeds.
As of December 5 2015, Tom has relocated to the Ocala, FL area, where is available to come to your farm or facility
